I love the thin large chips & tasty salsa @this location. We typically start with sharing a delicious Botana. Two of my favs: The crispy tacos & wonderfully tasty homemade tamales. Orders are always on point, the staff always friendly and it's always refreshing to see familiar faces. Great margarita & beer selections. Definitely worth the drive, always delish!

We went 2…read moremonths ago and service was slow, the margarita machine was broken but they failed to state that when a frozen margarita was ordered. Queso was not as good as I remembered it always being. Slow service and not impressed at all. We returned tonight and just thought that was a bad night for the restaurant. But we were wrong. Same slow service but even worse this time. The margarita machine is still not working?! She said they are having a hard time getting a part. No Sangria to offer. Limited on good quality margaritas unless you want a sugar filled one the rocks margarita. I guess don't go here if you enjoy a good Margarita with your Mexican food. My SO ordered a Pacifico and 15 minutes later they return to say they are out of Pacifico. No Pacifico. Our daughter said she wasn't going to order a meal and just wanted tortillas. She is 100lbs. They said, we'll still have to charge you for the set up. ?!! Okay, fine no argument from us. But your margarita machine is broken, you're out of Pacifico, your queso has no taste at all, NO TASTE AT ALL, and your service is slow as heck. Ambiance- all the blinds were closed during broad daylight and 60 degrees out. Just a personal preference of mine to have some light when it's daylight out but I realize that's not a preference for all. Cleanliness- didn't use the restroom and never have there. One of our menus had food on it so we set it aside and didn't use it. Maybe the guy at the register could wipe these down while standing there miserably. The guy that you pay at the register is not friendly at all. It was the same guy both times. No how did you enjoy your meal, how was everything, have a nice night, nothing, not even a smile. So sad for this well known Chelinos brand. We wish them the best and hope someone can turn this place for the better. We usually always go to Tequila Plata and we're quickly reminded why we continue to eat there weekly and how we will not give this Chelinos another chance. Go to Tequila Plata as they have never disappointed us and everything there is amazing. Coming from a lover of good Mexican food, quality margaritas, go to Tequila Plata!

Great little restaurant in a strip mall that wasn't hard to find at all. Service was good, nothing to complain about. If you're worried of speaking Spanish, don't worry since they do speak English and you can order just fine. Food was decent, it wasn't the ultimate best but if you're looking for authentic Mexican food, especially with some seafood, this is a good option. Still worth a visit in the area since there aren't many true authentic Mexican places to go in Yukon.

I will say this is a seafood restaurant so that is what their specialty is, so the birria tacos weren't that great but I'm not going to knock off points for that bc my friends carne asada burrito was good.
