I am very happy and satisfied with being seen here at the El Centro Dental office. The Dentist was very kind, and very gentle. He explained the before & after process well. His office staff was well informed, & kind as well. I definitely recommend him. The waiting area was clean and neat, so was the bathroom. read more

Expect to wait over 2hrs from the time of your appt it dont matter the hour! The receptionist do not care and are rude to everyone thats complaining! Coming one last time for my crown and never again! Made me wait over 3hrs for an impression for my crown that takes two seconds is ridiculous read more

Went in to see if I had cavities and to get my teeth cleaned because I haven't since 2018. They knew all of this. Week 1, the dentist examined and said I should come in next week to get the cavity out. I come in next week, different dentist. This guy had the nerve to say there's nothing wrong with my teeth. Then scheduled me a year from now to get them cleaned. I'm physically hurting on my gums and I haven't had a teeth cleanse in like 4 years. Why would they have me wait a whole mother year with a hurting mouth? Will not return. I believe the lady dentist more than the guy dentist. She found a cavity. He claims my teeth are in great shape all around. read more

El centro dental is unprofessional second week in a row they canceled my appointment the day of the appointment last week because Dr had an emergency supposedly! And this week because the staff was leaving at 12! Today it was 4 appointments 3 of my kids and mine! So it was not like they didn't have appointments! if you planned to close early why schedule appointments! read more

Stay away. Horrible, horrible experience. Dr. Siman, a very dishonest dentist and unprofessional, incompetent, rude front office staff. Please don't feel pressured and get a 2nd opinion. read more

Four years ago, I went to El Centro Dental at 1111 Fourth Street, El Centro, CA to have a Root Canal performed along with the application of a crown to my lower left molar (tooth no. 19). As I did not have dental insurance, I paid in excess of $600.00 for this procedure. Recently, I have been experiencing sensitivity and discomfort in this same tooth which had the Root Canal, so I requested an unscheduled appointment to my Dentist, here in San Diego. After performing a thorough examination and preparing for crown replacement on the tooth in question, he discovered El Centro Dental had only filled two of the four roots. Due to this unsatisfactory work, he referred me to an Endodontist for further examination and possibly another Root Canal procedure - to correct the first. The specialist came to the same conclusion and therefore required the procedure be completed again. The result of these procedures has cost me an additional $1,600.00. Confirmed by both my Dentist and the Endodontist, I'm very unsatisfied with El Centro Dental's workmanship read more

This place is ok. I wish the doctor wouldn't use his assistants so much to do his work. They call you non stop.

Great place to go to, office a little outdated but the staff & Dr. are very polite & helpful. I went in for a crown & they were very professional & friendly. I would recommend them to others. read more

Complete scam artists. My husband's workers comp claim was denied due to their lack of timely action. Dr. Siman never completed his portion despite my husband calling and speaking to him multiple times and receiving false promises. They have also attempted to bill our insurance for services not provided that we wouldn't have needed, and are now calling for the first time well over a year after we stopped going there trying to hit us up for $300 for 6 minor fillings when we have good dental insurance and the fillings should have been covered (and probably were) back when they were done. Stay away from this dumpster fire of a dental office! read more

I was not afraid of the dentist before i went to el centro dental. The whole experience was a nightmare they failed to provide treatment in a timely manner, allowed novacain to wear off before even starting work, and i developed an infection in my tooth immediately after going to them. This forced me to take time off work. The reception staff is great but sadly they don't do the work. They work for a bunch of butchers. read more

Please don't go here. I went because there is a bunch of advertisement. Now I know a good dentist doesn't need to pay for advertisement. I waited for about an hour before I was seen. Then it took another hour for them to take a bunch of pictures. The feeling you get there is like cattle being process. There were so many people all the dentist see is dollar signs. The dentist asked me what I wanted done. I told him "you're the dentist, you tell me." He became flustered and said that I had TMJ and I would need to have all (I have several) my silver filling removed and new porcelain ones put in. All in one day for $3000.00 mind you. I was just going in for my annual check up! read more

Had HORRIBLE HORRIBLE expercience there. I had a pretty large gap between my two front teeth so we thought of veneers and we didnt really know too much about then. Obviously we should have researched more but we went in for a consult and somehow he talked me and my mom into getting my front 6 teeth into veneers. He said things like well the color is gonna be off so it would just be a lot better smile if you do this and well try and give you a discount. It ended up being somewhere along 10 grand. If i remember right one of them broke with the 2nd year and when i went back they were reluctant to fix it. then a year later another one broke and they were supposed to last at LEAST 15 years. so in total before the 15 years was up 4 of them chipped or broke and i live near the border so i just went to mex to get them fixed there because they refused to help me after the first time. SO not only is he one to talk you into unnecessary procedures once your gone after he did very little to help. Plus hes a bit rude when you talk to him read more

Would give zero stars if I could. I was referred here by a dental clinic to have two teeth extracted (one being a wisdom tooth) and the dental assistant for the clinic called the el centro dental center and scheduled me the appointment. So I go in for my appointment and after waiting nearly 45 min the receptionist tells me I'm not even scheduled! She fixes the issue and I wait another 30 min to be seen. Finally I am waiting to see the Dentist and I have to wait about another 25 min to see a rude dentist. They had no idea why I was even there after my clinic called and talked to them and they still put me down as a general exam. Even after explaining to the dentist how much pain I've been in he is still very rude and doesn't even bother to explain any procedures to be done or why I am in pain. Plus he is chatting to his assistant in Spanish thinking I can't understand him. I will not be going back! Do not go here! Nothing gets explained to you, the dentist is rude, and your siting there waiting for almost two hours just to be evaluated by a rude guy for 5 min! read more

Like the previous reviewer stated if I could give 0 stars that's exactly what I would give. First off this dr. Simone guy is a complete joke. His dental ideology is to basically take advantage of patients by not explaining what he will be performing and then give you an extremely high bill that is not itemized. I on the other hand spoke up about what needed to be done. Anyhow, he is always late, never on time so if you do decide to see him book 1 hour ahead of schedule. According to dr. Simone "my flight was delayed" it's always the same story. Maybe if he would just commit to doing his job professionally then everyone would get to be where they needed to be on TIME. Like I insinuated... Your on his time not your own. One thing that I couldn't help but laugh... He was trying to convince me to purchase a mold that supposedly costed him 5k to make but the so called intelligent dentist decided not to go through the prior approval process with insurance and found out it wasn't covered. You could assume what his plan of attack was next. He called me into his office to speak about this matter rather than just call me and explain this mouth guard would not be covered. It gets better! He had a pity party and explained that he didn't want this mold to go to waste considering he spent so much money to make this and added that he could give me a good deal.:/ I explained that I needed to speak with my dad (of course I knew I didn't want this mold at this point) but I still kept it respectful and professional myself. His response was "would you like me to call your dad? I could speak to him for you." What am I 12 years old? By then I said to him that wasn't necessary. He clearly is a crook! He will do whatever it takes to take your money and will not explain nor will his office staff provide you with an itemized bill. Office staff, let's just say dr. Simone trained them well. They know exactly what to say, and how to defend his scope of so called practice. Let's just say that dr. Simone targets Hispanics for there money especially those who do not speak English. I've witnessed it in the chair of the individual sitting right beside me at his office while I was waiting to be seen of course. He did not explain that she was done, the dental assistant walked away did not further exam anything and dr. Simone said in very hard to understand Spanish "cash or card". He charged her $400 and her eyes popped out. She couldn't defend herself due to the fact she was numb and unable to speak. I could go on and on about everything that I saw he did wrong. They take unnecessary pictures and will bill you later. They don't tell you why, they just say "sit down we need to take your picture." You have been warned! Oh! Last thing he only visits the IV every two weeks only Thursdays. That is why he tries to get as much business as he can on that day! read more

Worse experience ever! I needed a root canal on a broken molar and after seeing several dentists from my County which denied me because I have medical, finally was referred by Denti-Cal to this horrible dentist. I wanted to keep my molar since I had already taken 3 out, the only reason why I put up with severe pain and antibiotics for 14 days. Well they did X-rays of my whole mouth, then the dentist came to look at the X-rays and immediately said that my molar had calcification on the roots and that there was only one specialist in San Diego that would dare to do the root canal. I'd be so lucky if the extraction went well. I've just had it with all this bullshit and said take it out. Big mistake! It was horrible even the injection to numb it was sooo painful, he went to work on another patient while the anesthesia was kicking in but I could still feel everything. The syringe was almost full. I worked in the medical field for 20 years. When he came back, I told him I was not numb enough but he ignored me and proceeded to remove it. I swear I could feel everything he was pressing down so much I thought he was going to break my jaw! It took him a while to finally pull it out and he had the audacity to tell me that he only used his fingers to do it, no instruments. No wonder he tore up my gums and he had to suture afterwards. I took a look at my extracted molar with a piece of gum attached to it and no calcification on the roots at all! And when I asked for it they said no! My molar could have been saved, but he didn't give a damn. He was too lazy. To add on, he was behaving very unprofessionally. During the procedure he was saying that it was Friday and the body knows it, my shoes were pretty, that I didn't know what his fingers can do, that if it doesn't go in then it slides in. Terrible and gross things like that. So please please stay away from this clinic! I ended up having to removing my own stitches. Still, better then going back to that place. read more

I definitely should have done some research before making an appointment here. I wouldn't even give this place one star but since that isn't an option it will have to do. I had an appointment today at 9am and didn't get seen until 10:30! That should already tell you something right there. The receptionist was very unprofessional, when I simply asked her a question she didn't even bother to answer my question and walked away as if I wasn't even standing there. Second, After getting my X-Rays done I was told to wait for the dentist to arrive to start my exam, 30 mins later he finally shows up only to do a 2 min "exam" and says "I'll be right back", yet again I waited another 30 mins. Only for an assistant to come back with a huge bill of $400 telling me I needed to do the procedure today (which I am not obligated to do anything) she kept trying to bribe me to do the procedure today when I kept telling her I would need to reschedule. By the time I was out of there it was already 12pm! I waited there for three hours only for them to take X-Rays. I didn't even get a clean up. I am never going back there again! And I'm going to make sure everyone knows what a shitty place this is and how unprofessional they were. read more

I took my son to get braces at El Centro Western Dental after having had braces on for 3 yrs. in Mexico. His two front teeth had become loose due to the opening and closing of his gap with the dentist in Mexicali. Initial x-rays and evaluation were done. A few months later the dental assistant notices front teeth movement. Never had the dentist, Dr. Keith Alexander, noticed after several appointments for wire tightening. A referral was done for the periodontist to check out his loose teeth. Recommendation from periodontist was that brackets/braces be removed. Braces were removed. Long story short, the staff at Western Dental did nothing to adjust amount owed on braces. They charged my insurance half of the braces plus I had already paid $694.00 as I was paying 99.00 each visit. According to Cynthia Ramirez (Pt. Care Coordinator) and Denise Guerrero (Business Manager) they did all they could do to help. There is a disconnect between local El Centro office and Corporate office. Obviously, someone is not making effort to fix this situation. Their answer to me was, "Corporate office reviewed the chart and stated you are responsible for the complete amount charged on the braces. Here is the number if you would like to call them". I am so disappointed in the lack of help I received. Nothing, nothing was done to solve my issue. I would never recommend Western Dental Orthodontics to anyone. They are thieves and have no concept of right vs. wrong. It is the worst! read more

The worst dentist I've ever been. My appointment was at 2. I get there at 1:40. I go right in. Only for them numb me. And let me sit there for for about 2 hours, and the novacane starts wearing off. Finally when the dentist is ready, I tell him the novacane has worn off. He shoots me up with some more novacane. Only to start working on me right away. I tell him it hurts. He don't believe me, I had to literally pull his hand away. Another 10 minutes go by. He goes to work on a tooth that wasn't even talked about. Grabbed his hand again. By this time I'm ready to walk out. But I stay, literally praying it gets easier. By the grace of God it does. The dental assistants there, all talking in Spanish. So the dentist don't know what they're saying. All of them saying, "how they wait to go home, it's so hot, how many patients are left". On top of alll they're Complaining, I swallowed a good amount of that stuff they use for filling. To the point I was gagging on it and had to grabbed the sucker and try to do it my. Because the dental assistants are talking about who knows what. And not "dental assisting". read more
