I had walked by this place several times looking in at it's rather stark lack luster decor and as it sign said buffet I was not drawn in. However a friend of mine had recently completed some art work for them and said I should really try their food - the menu being Mexican not Yucatecan. I am so glad I did because the food here is of a level of quality you would not expect in this location ! And her Mexican cuisine is a nice break from most of the ( naturally ) Yucatecan places in Merida. "Buffet" as the title suggests is confusing because it is a full table service restaurant and your individual order is prepared fresh for you. There is no buffet laugh out loud I would suggest that they remove that word from their title as it is confusing ? This is lovely homestyle freshly prepared food at amazingly cheap prices !
