Super nice guy and he will take care of you and give you exactly what you want with no frills. I've even recommended my neighbors to take their son to this place and now they only come here for their son's haircuts. They previously went to the European hair salon on Bainbridge but we were able to convert them. This place may be small, but it's definitely a hole in the wall that packs a punch. It's in such a good location as well. The D train subway station and many buses are right there, some food establishments, a bank, grocery stores, pharmacy, dentistry, clinics. The area is mainly residential with many local mom and pop shops. Very low key and calm. My brother says he'll never cheat on his barber. Weekends get busy but makes sense since people are off and have time. The fact that so many come and are willing to wait reflects well on their business. My brother doesn't mind waiting either, knowing he'll be able to receive the attention and service from his favorite barber. He moved to Manhattan and still won't go to anyone else but Tony. They specialize in European and straight hair. It's a neighborhood gem. They treat you like family. Go and support them!

He provided a picture and clear direction for what he wanted - just a basic haircut that fades in on the sides and is longer on top. The barber did a perfect job, haircut looks amazing! Would recommend. Will be coming back.

We…read moremoved from Queens, NY to Connecticut 14 years ago and my husband always looked disappointed after his hair cuts at different barber shops. I love my hair Salon in Norwalk but felt terrible that he did not have the same luck. A friend of his told him eight months ago about this place and my husband has been happy ever since. Juancito has a way with the scissors. I love that every hair cut always comes out the same (skin tight fade). He receives a shave and that always looks perefect as well. The rates are fantastic. Most importantly if Juancito says he is going to be there at a day and time he will be there on that day and time. Parking for us on Saturdays is not an issue. There are meters that you can feed and places to eat and drink like Lincoln Fried Chicken or the Deli Grocery.

It is very difficult to find a hairstylist/barber that can always bring their A-game to the table…read morewhen cutting your hair. I have had many haircuts from many different stylists and barbers, and this place tops all the rest. Nested privately in a sleek building lobby on Park Ave, you already feel like a million bucks upon entering. The salon caters to men ranging from a regular wash-and-go type of guy to the businessmen working in midtown who need a bit of trimming during their lunch break. There are only two stalls, and each stall is private. The experience between the two barbers adds up to possibly more than 40 years, and it shows. By appointment only. The receptionist is very friendly, and the barbers are the ones who wash your hair also. You're never really told how much to pay, and you're treated like a Renaissance man every time you sit. There is always great conversation to be had with the barber, and you leave the place feeling great and not worrying about how your hair looks. The barber also gives great tips on how to manage your hair. I don't like getting haircuts often, so he catered to that need and my hair has never looked and felt healthier after following his advice. I'll go back for more!

But where the rubber meets the road -- the haircut. Excellent. The best I've had in years (and with my thinning hair it gets harder for the barber as time goes on). Highly recommend. A haircut, including wash, condition, cut, massage is $70. A lot of money, but I have a feeling I'm not going to need another cut for some time. That's the mark of a good cut, to me: how long before I have to do it again. Highly recommend. Also, my son highly recommends but he's too busy to write a review.
