Because of this, the place is not very popular and is never completely full. Sometimes the place hosts other kind of artistic events, but I recommend checking the website first. However, the place is not very comfortable. It can get really cold and it needs urgent maintenance. Then again, you must understand that the income is not very high. A few years ago the place was endangered and it was on the verge of disappearance. All in all, this is a very nice place to visit.

I visited many times on a recent trip as they had a really interesting film festival on and some interesting exhibits that merited a second look. It is free to get in and although some exhibits charge an entrance fee there are certain times that you can still get in free (before 12 when I was there) and there are a range of films that are free entry alongside those that aren't. While I was there the range of international, independent films was very impressive. I really liked the water features, the quotes on the wall and art work all around the building. The shops are not the cheapest but full of beautiful things that are excellent quality and locally made so worth the price. And there was even a shops where you could get your own design 3d printed. Definitely worth a visit.
