At one point I had to stop him from making a huge mistake cutting the front of my hair like a bowl cut, and then when I explained then method others used he told me he can't do that with scissors, and would have to use clippers. Again I had to straighten him out and guide him how to get it done. It isn't the worse I ever had, but it also isn't great, and had I not spoken up, it most certainly would have been.

Carlos welcomed me to sit and get beautiful again! Carlos was very professional and asked all the right questions as my hair was so long by now he had no idea what is was supposed to look like normally. The owner stayed open longer just to cut my hair. He did a really thorough job and probably one of the best I have had over the past 60+ years. Mathew stayed in his shop longer that day to help me get my much needed haircut after we filled up on our drinking water at Desert Water and Ice. That was much appreciated and I recommended Matchez for the their service and professionalism shown me on my visit that AM. Thank you for your kindness to a walk-in and my great haircut.
