This was a beautiful little hike with a lot of art to gaze at. There are a ton of sculptures to view that are all unique. You also get a beautiful view of Oslo that can't be beat. There's also an art installation that is only open on Sundays that is super cool. You can't take photos in there and really makes you stay in the moment while inside. So if you only have 1 day to see this park make it Sunday. read more

This is such a beautiful park in Oslo. There are so many different art installations, and they are all intertwined with the nature. If you are visiting from out of Norway, I highly suggest seeing this, even if you aren't that big into hiking or the outdoors. There is also a sky space and light exhibit that is open on Sunday's, so if you have a choice try and go then between 11:00 and 16:00, no photos are allowed but it's very relaxing. read more

Beautiful and easily accessible sculpture park that's well worth your time when visiting Oslo. No hiking shoes needed, the inclines are overall mild and the trails well maintained. There are 45 statues to see, we managed to visit most of them over a meandering hour and a half. There's also a camping area at the top, pretty neat. Lovely way to spend a sunny afternoon - sculpture orienteering! There are several geocaches in the park as well. read more

We highly prefer outdoor activities to museums so this was right up our alley. It's also free, so you really can't beat it. It's right off of the trolley stop, so it's easy to get to as well. This is a really large sculpture park. It's a beautiful park and the sculptures are well incorporated. It's very mature focused, not an overly groomed park. There are benches throughout if you're looking to relax. At the entrance, there is a map that shows different paths and where the sculptures are. This is a good way to make sure you see them all if that's what you're looking for. There are some very bizarre statues. It's a very hilly park, so you'll get your exercise in. There is one place in the park that has a really good view of the city. This was one of our favorite things that we did in Oslo and I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting! read more

This park is fabulous. Lots of paths and off the beaten paths wth sculptures scattered throughout the park. Bring hiking shoes or good sneakers and plan to give your legs a good workout. There are great views of Oslo and the fjords near the top. The sculptures are neat and some talk to you... even a lamppost. The scream "sculpture" was a let down but this park is awesome. Dogs are allowed. I even saw some running freely which kind of scared me at first because the dog was large and no owner was in sight. But the dog was not interested in me at all. There's a cafe and a restaurant on site. It is easy to get to by tram and there is a parking lot. read more

Beautiful park less than 10 minutes from the Oslo center. It has the best view of the city; so, it is a great place to bring your camera. As you enjoy the park and walk around, there are several interesting installations and sculptures. Also, there is a camping area in this park. read more
