The staff is friendly and are able to call you a cab at anytime. The hotel itself is very clean and spacious. There's a bar area near the reception and parking outside. Only a short walk away is the train station which you can get a group ticket for about 11 euros. It's a 10 minute train to central station. Although it's slightly outside the city center, I recommend it over the other locations in the city center because it'll be much much nicer and still a short train away from where you want to be.

The train took about the same amount of time and was 3.50 euro. All the front desk staff spoke very good English and were very helpful when needed. It was extremely cold so we didn't do much walking to and from the hotel but id imagine in the summer or warmer weather it would be a pleasant walk to the docks and city center. Cab rides to Miniutur Wunderland and the Dock area were about 9 to 11 euro. Do yourself a favor and get the MYtaxi app its their version of Uber and lift and is very handy.

Perfect location, walking distacne to central station are 5 minutes! also 5 minutes to the city center, 2 minutes to the library- very, very handy! Check-IN- no problems, very friendly staff. You can pay when checkn in or when you do the checkout. Breakfast is 10 €, I didn't try it out (cause a Schweinske is closeby and the best to do for breakfast in Hamburg). A lot of TV channels, one (fox) gave the possibility to switch so orignial sound, all others where synchronized to german... Maybe one thing I could complain about- the cleaning times. I was out for breakfast, shopping etc, when I came back at 4 p.m., my room was still not cleaned... Next to this building there is an ibis Budget, which is a cheaper version of it. Interesting shower as both sides are clear glass windows, lets a lot of light in but you will have to pull the shades. The staff have been extremely friendly and welcoming with the goal of ensuring your stay is enjoyable. I love the "attached" Italian restaurant which you will have to walk across a foot bridge over a small river/canal. This restaurant serves a huge breakfast buffet with attentive staff. It does get busy in the morning so get there early so you can get a seat to eat. You can't go wrong visiting this property, clean, modern with friendly people ensuring you have a happy stay.

We managed to eat a couple of eggs not to starve after a long fight with the personnel. 3. The room did not have air condition and had a fan with no cover. The ventilation in the bathroom did not work. One of the beds was broken. 4 We had booked a TRIPLE room on Priceline with three beds for four people. Per Priceline agreement, we were supposed to pay 25 EUR for the extra person. 4.1. They did not provide extra bed/mattress for the 4th person. I had to lie down on the floor the whole night. 4.2. They were trying to force us pay for 2 people, claiming that a TRIPLE room with three beds is for 2 people. They said: "We will not let you leave the building if you do not pay for two extra people". I finally managed to pay for one extra person. 4.3. We were surrounded by a group of people who seemed to be the same family. When my wife stepped up to speak in my support, they who seemed like extremists verbally attacked my wife claiming that she's not the proper person to talk as she was not wearing proper clothes according to their beliefs!!!!!!! Yes, that's right! It was in Hamburg, Germany. I am filing a claim against them through Booking.com. I will also raise a legal claim against them through my company's attorneys.
