Same German fare but the dishes did not feel as "heavy" but it also might be presentation style. Their apfelkurcherl is divine! All around this is a good place to enjoy with friends, especially if you haven't seen each other in a while. The atmosphere invites you to stay as you will leave feeling like "wow that was a good night". Music, beer or aperol spritz, good service.... Good food!

The food choice is good and I loved the food here. The ribs were really nice as was the Obatzda and Nürnberger sausages. I also tasted the steckerlfisch and it was delicious. They have live jazz band here and that was a welcome change to the normal Biergarten music. Loved the atmosphere, the food and the service. Look forward to my next visit. Since the building was built in 1890 and is under monument protection, the new construction of the brewery was a real challenge. The brewhouse and each tank had to be built and developed in such a way that they not only brew the best beer, but could also be brought into the building and fit into the available space. They have their own beer as well as offer Hacker Pschorr beer here. It's a gorgeous old building that used to be a train station and the interior is spacious and warm. I assume they have an outdoor Biergarten for summer and so on. The menu is fairly extensive with most classical Bavarian food on offer. They also have a selection of drinks besides beer. I settled for the Wöllner Schnitzel which was made with pork that had a mustard coating. It was really good and I loved it. The Kaiserschmarrn we had was also quite ok. The service was good and friendly and overall it was a great experience. I would happily come here again. It's great beer and the food is also quite good here. It's just a stones throw from the S Bahn Station. A great find recommended to us by a friend who lives near here.
