Amazing atmosphere and food. Some of the best desert creations we've seen in the area and at much more reasonable prices than places like Zakopane or even Nowy Targ.
I personally recommend one of the signature croffles (croissant waffles) with various topping options like pistachios with pistachio crème and ice cream, or in-season fruits and caramel drizzle. If you prefer a smaller portion, the croffle is a great choice. We also had some apple turnover with whipped cream and ice cream, and that portion was enough for 2 people.
The ambiance and decor are reflective of both a quiet European cafe as well as the local Polish Highlander culture, with stained glass paintings of traditional folk life, hanging from the walls.
The service was good as well, prompt but not overbearing. Although it is a small locale right by the main road, it's kid friendly and peaceful. Perfect for a quick coffee and some desert after a day full of exploring Szczawnica. read more
