There are tables and other places to sit too, but this is clearly the place to be in Copenhagen! And did I say the food was delicious? FOOD: It was so much fun walking around to all the different stalls. You can get virtually any kind of food you want and all of it is good. Some better than others, but that's what is so great. You will have different tastes than me and everyone will find something they want. Indian, Chinese, Pizza, Greek, Danish...just so many different types of food. We had the Nordic Hot Dog (so good and the fries were awesome, too), the raclette over waffle fries (love that cheese), Asian pork on a stick with rice (also delicious), and pizza. Oh and yummy ice cream afterward. SERVICE: Variety was great and service was quicker than a normal food truck. Portions were nice for the money and you can't beat the amount and types of food. The ambiance is amazing and the vibe is so cool. COST: Not bad, especially for being a hit and hip place. But for the experience it was a bargain. Again, just so much fun.

I highly recommend this place if you're in Copenhagen!

I have been eating Paleo for 3 years and it's hard to find convenient places while traveling. This…read morecafe makes it easy since EVERYTHING is paleo! The commitment to health and the paleo lifestyle is what made me give it an extra star. If it was a regular cafe, I would not recommend. I ordered... Open face chicken wrap: 4/5. It was a large portion and tasted good but not great. Not memorable. Could have used more pesto. There was A LOT of almonds and avocado - more than a reasonable meal should have. Seed bread: 5/5. Very delicious and fills the craving for real bread. Would have been better heated up instead of being served cold from the fridge. Location: I tried to visit one evening at 6pm because their online hours were listed as being open til 7pm, but they actually were already closed. There was another customer in front of me who had also read the incorrect information and we were both turned away. Otherwise the interior is nice and comfortable but a bit messy with dirty dishes left on tables and not cleared within a few minutes. The kitchen looked like a mess with smoothie juice on the floor. It looked like the blender exploded.

Palæo's newest location is on a nice little strip of street in Central Copenhagen with the likes of…read moreRaw42 as its nextdoor neighbor. Makes you feel healthy just walking by, what with all the low carb / healthy juices / raw foods hanging around (beginning to think this was a strategic move). Fairly cheap and easy dinner of a chicken wrap (the wrap is made out of egg and coconut flour) and a beet/celery/carrot juice and this girl is a happy camper with a happy belly. A fantastic alternative to other comparable meals in the area which are twice as expensive and ten times as unhealthy. It's a damn shame that neither the Palæo in Torvehallerne, nor the one here on Pilestræde, are close to my house. I would probably come here daily, if that were the case. Pro-tip: they sell low carb pastries here, like coconut muffins, nut breads, and various other paleo friendly snacks if you need a treat on the run and are trying to resist visiting Lagkagehuset.

My favorite here is the salmon bagel its a bagel with smoked salmon, crème fraîche, red onion, and parsley. As there is no were to sit you need to take your order with you. But right outside there is a small park with benches, for those who want to sit and enjoy it right away.

Widerbergs is an institution here in Lund, one that is loved and appreciated by all. Among the…read morestudents this place is firstly a deli and a land mark as such as it was one of the first and few that fed us excellent nourishment for very little money. Among the general public it is a butcher shop of the highest standard where you might find anything in between heaven and earth and at reasonable prices. Widerbergs well-deserved reputation as a deli is due its most classical baguette sandwich called, so originally I might add, a Widebergare. A medley of spreads combined in such organized and delicate ways you will be taken on a journey. A journey containing a travel pass, a travel among the smooth and creamy taste of cheese to the salty and smoky taste of cold cuts to the sugary taste of sweet canned peaches to the zingy taste of horseradish and more. The same sandwich can also be ordered only to contain cheese and that is also a highly recommended medley. I am pretty sure you won't go wrong with whatever you order from the menu but the spicy chicken or the chicken with tzatziki sauce on ciabatta bread are surly to die for even though the last one is somewhat messy to eat. Also while we still are on the subject messy but yet heavenly to eat make sure to order any of the wraps particularly the smoked salmon cream cheese, or tuna wraps or the egg/shrimp salad bagel. As far as the butchery goes this is where these guys outshine most other supermarkets or for that matter other more specialized butcheries. As far as game meat and other more exotic cuts go you will never go wrong with Widerbergs. This is a place where you can in fact order horse filet steaks if you like to and not worry it has somehow been sneaked into the lamb or beef mincemeat! You are also welcomed to pick your meat and ask them to mince it in front of you! Do you wish to eat kangaroo or alligator well by now you can guess where you can turn to purchase such. I am torn here in the end trying to rate Widerbergs and this is due the fact that I still love the place and the quality but I fell in love with it years ago also cause of the prices. Don't get me wrong the prices are still reasonable but I feel that they have increased the prices a little more than they needed to and this has been done because they are such a great success. I would love to give them a rating of 5 but the nostalgic me wants to deduct half a point but yelp won't allow me so it will be a 4 star rating but it is really a 4,5.
