Egeria is a lovely sculpted fountain that is part of the Elemental Gardens at Reed Road Park. It was created by Gene Friley, a local artist, and named for the Greek goddess who accepted water in exchange for providing prophecies. It is interactive, as it includes a hand pump that can be used to produce water during warmer weather (the water is drained from October-March). It is made of concrete, and can easily be seen when enjoying a walk around the multi-use trail in the park. read more
