Very satisfied with Mr Egans work and would highly recommend him to anyone. He quoted me a reasonable rate and did a great, thorough job. Total professional and a nice guy to boot. Top notch. read more

Found Joe on Yelp. We had company coming and a bunch of yardwork and remodeling/moving stuff to get rid of fast. Joe arrived on time, gave a very very fair estimate, loaded quickly and neatly. He was in and out with no problems, just a great job. Note that my DH has a hard time throwing out stuff - well more to the point HIS stuff. My stuff no problem. His stuff, it's a trauma. He had a bunch of leftover wood that he was NEVER going to be able to use but I'd wisely left it apart from the haul it pile. In some kind of freak miracle insight , DH saw how quickly the corner of the yard looked clean and clear without the world coming to an end.....and came to his own realization that he could have that too. He actually volunteered to get rid of his own extra stuff. Joe likely saw me go into shock or perhaps heard the heavens open in song....but he was great about taking the additional load without making a big deal of it. Will definitely be calling him again. read more

Wow! I didn't know this type of service existed. I've moved 5 times in the last 12 years and it was a real drag to pack up everything. The first 4 times, we just threw everything into boxes and took it with us. So, you can imagine how much junk we had built up. This time, we moved to a place that is only half as big as the place we were moving from. So, we had to sift through everything and take only what we really wanted to keep. Needless to say, there was a lot to get rid of. Then, there was just the general trash in the house (e.g., food, toiletries, magazines, appliances, just little things we didn't want to take with us). I called Egan Hauling and asked for a quote to just take the stuff away. Joe gave me a quote for 3/4 of the truck. He also told me that I wouldn't have to worry about getting rid of the stuff in the house--that he'd go through all of the cabinets and draws and shelves and remove everything that we left behind. I couldn't believe my ears. I didn't know such a service existed. Anyhow, Joe was on time, very pleasant, extremely helpful, professional, and FAST. He consolidated what looked to be a huge mess into orderly piles and then squished them onto his truck. It was like magic. At the end of it all, it looked like it was more than 3/4 of the truck and it took him about 30 minutes extra because we had so much stuff. But he stuck with his initial quote. We will definitely hire Egan Hauling again if we move or have anything to haul. Thanks, Joe! read more

The nicest guy ever got us out of a jam. Joe Egan, owner of Egan Hauling, hauled a bunch of dirt out of our backyard after our contractor flaked on us. He even helped us dig the dirt out of our backyard. Background: we planned for a contractor to remove dirt from our backyard. He was supposed to come on Saturday morning. No show. No call. What to do? We called around and found Joe who said, yeah, I can pick up the dirt from your driveway. He gave us a quote that seemed reasonable. When he got to our house, we had only a little dirt on the driveway though we were shoveling furiously in the backyard. He grabbed his shovel and for the next hour helped dig out the backyard. That meant he dug the dirt twice: once in the backyard and once on the driveway where we dumped it and he shoveled it into his truck. Man, he was nice. When the job was done, he didn't try to jack up his quote. He kept it at what he quoted over the phone. I couldn't believe it. Call this guy. He's nice and honest. Hey, that's quite something for a small business. btw, dirt isn't the only thing he hauls. If you've got furniture, appliances, cabinets, apartment clean-out - he'll haul it. read more

Joe is awesome. He was going to be a little late and called - twice - to make sure everything was still ok. When he arrived, he was extremely accommodating to our needs and happily took additional items we had not pre-arranged. He even took to a sawsall saw to break apart big items to be removed! Definately recommend Joe unreservedly! read more

Clearing clutter (junk) can save your sanity, and your relationship :) I called Joe this morning and asked him to come haul some big items that have been filling up space in the garage. He gave me a price over the phone, and said he would see me in about an hour. When he got here, he started in, and didn't need any help from me. Like others have said, Joe is easy to talk to and makes you feel comfortable (and he didn't judge me for all the crap in the garage). Honest, reliable, and stuck to the price he quoted me on the phone. read more

Joe was professional, courteous, and did a great job removing concrete from my backyard. And he also beat the other bid I got by 40%! Also, I broke the concrete up myself -- I rented a jackhammer and was proud of myself for getting it done in a day -- but Joe said he would have done it for $150. I should have just had him do the whole thing! Call with confidence -- I won't hesitate to use his services again. read more

Joe Egan is the best trash hauler around - fair, hard working and flexible. I haven't used his services in over a year and his phone number isn't working. Does anyone know how to get a hold of him? Thanks read more

//UPDATE: I believe this service may have changed their name. I am posting a review for the service (a new instance of using them) under the name of the business cards they are using in the event that they are two different companies. I will try to research this and merge the reviews if necessary. Called today (on a Sunday) and he arrived an hour later! Very friendly, reasonable prices, great service. I have rheumatoid arthritis so I can't move a lot of items, plus I have good energy and low energy days -so when I'm feeling ok, I like to get as much done as possible. It was wonderful that he was willing to come out on a Sunday and clear out many bags of items, old printer/PC/tv/etc. 5 Stars! read more

Never yet found a gardener with his virtues. We were given 3-4x the amount of "free dirt" we asked for, and then had to spend way too much (and way over the initial quote) for a well-known firm to take it away. "Free" is now a curse word in our family. If only I'd been able to persuade my MiL to use Joe again, if only I'd been able to persuade her son to use him again, we would have paid less, had less of a mess, and it would have taken far less time, at least where the last person was concerned. Also, our front yard, garage, and house would have been swept clean by Joe, instead of having to do it ourselves, or get it hired, before being able to put the house up for sale. Perhaps Joe's fees are lower due to a lack of expensive adverts. He deservedly gets enough business by word of mouth from this forum! read more

This guy gets the job done and he's very personable, easy to talk too which interprets to a person easy to work with. Plus he's so reasonable! read more

I called Joe to come over and take a look at all the junk my parents had in their backyard. We walked around and I pointed out which items needed to go, he gave me a fair quote, and before I knew it he was off hauling out the junk. Nice guy and was very easy to work with. He even swept up after himself, even after I told him that wasn't necessary. I would recommend his services and thanks to Yelp and the other reviews for pointing my in the right direction. Thanks Egan Hauling and thanks Joe! read more

Joe is an absolute professional. We hired him to clean up after a corporate project. He remained in constant contact with us through the duration of the project, showed up on time, and did a spectacular job cleaning up not just the big pieces, but also swept the floor. I'd give him extra stars if I could, because I think it was a lot more work than he anticipated, and he just had himself, yet he stuck to the original quote and never tried to ask for more. I would definitely recommend him. read more

Joe removed about 3 cubic yards of concrete from our patio, having to dolly the concrete through our house as our patio is walled. He came prepared with drop clothes to protect our floor, worked with caution, was fast, friendly, and I think fair in price. I would absolutely use his services again. read more

Joe Egan did a fantastic job at hauling my old spa. He came to my house and picked it up within 30 minutes of our conversation, charged less than the other quotes we were getting and was super professional. He even picked up the debris from lifting the spa onto his tilt-bed. Knew exactly how to position the spa to get it into the bed quickly. Absolutely fantastic and quick service, excellent rates, 5 stars! read more

I have used Egan Hauling twice and am very happy with the service I received both times. Joe came by the house exactly when he said he would, gave me an estimate and then loaded the truck with no help by me and all for probably half the cost of 1-800 Junk. Thanks Joe and see you next time I have junk to be hauled. read more

I highly recommend Joe Egan. I called him on a Saturday, thinking he would get back with me on Monday. He called me within an hour and we set up a time for the following Monday. The reasonable price he quoted was the same price I paid since there were no other surprises I forgot to mention to him, that he would have to take. My .....uutt-humm, "outgoing" neighbor was in her front yard and saw him taking my old crusty tin shed away and asked him if he could take her old desk and chair too, which he did, without charge. He is an honest , reliable, and just a plain nice person, and professional and fast in his work. My crappy old shed was out in no time and I am very happy!! I would give him 10 starts if I could!! read more

I was very impressed with how quickly Joe responded and how reasonable his rates were. He included a bunch of garbage that we weren't even thinking about in his price, plus he threw in a couch at no extra charge! He called us before arriving and cleaned up after the job very well. Will definitely call him again! read more

My husband & I just completed a huge renovation on our rental property. We had a ton of old appliances, kitchen cabinets, blinds, bathroom vanity, trees, old carpeting etc that we ripped out. I found the reviews regarding Egan Hauling on Yelp, and since we have tried several yelp reviewed suppliers we decided to give Joe a call. Joe showed up on time, and ready to work, and boy did he work hard. I was very impressed with his work ethic, and total focus on getting the items taken away quickly and efficiently. He even made a trip to another house to pickup more junk. We found his price very reasonable. In addition he is professional and polite which scores big points with me. Five HUGE stars for Mr. Egan, we will definately use him again. read more

I relied on YELP reviews in hiring Joe Egan to haul off some construction debris and general junk that was accumulating at a house I was remodeling. I called him early in the week to see if he could come out that Saturday morning, and he did! He ran a little late, but, called to let me know. He gave me, what I thought, was a very fair quote and then stuck with it even though he wound up hauling off alot of additional "junk", including a couch we had trouble removing from the house. He was personable, nice, hard working and had a great sense of humor! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to others, or to contact him in the future should we need him for other projects. read more

Fantastic. He was prompt, friendly, clean, fair-priced, and hauled away everything I asked for - including a HEAVY old fireplace stove! Highly recommended. read more

Definitely a great service and fantastic pricing. We needed a lot of items hauled away from our backyard and they took care of everything. It was daunting thinking of doing it on our own and i'm glad we found Egan Hauling. I highly recommend them if you don't have a truck and need to do some cleanup at your home or business. read more

Joe is a honest hardworking guy. He does his best to accomodate you and charges a fair price. He'll help haul out your junk and break it down with a sledgehammer so that it takes up the least amount of space. He also likes my band "Epoch" http://epochband.com (shameless plug). all around nice guy. Highly recommended. read more

After we bought our house we needed a hot tub removed along with a few other random items of detritus. Called up Joe and he was great. He even came out, IIRC, on a weekend. This was many years ago so the details are a little fuzzy. What's not fuzzy is how awesome Joe was. I had already drained the hot tub but when I tried cutting it up myself I soon realized it was way beyond me. Joe didn't balk at the task. That hot tub didn't stand a chance. It was gone in an afternoon and he even took the extra stuff I neglected to mention on the phone. Great service. Would use him again in a second. read more

Just hired Joe to haul some stuff from my home. He was on time. Did a clean job at a reasonable price. read more

Thanks to Yelp, I discovered Egan Hauling. Joe has helped me on two separate occasions when cleaning out a home after the tenants were gone. He is honest and fair in his pricing. He is super busy, so you may have to wait for his availability - but it is worth the wait. He also tries to be very accommodating if you have a deadline you have to meet. He is just an all-around nice guy. I love that he cleans/sweeps up after clearing the debris. Totally full-service experience. read more

Joe did an excellent job. He has a nice, big truck for big loads. As an added bonus, when he picked up an old armchair to haul away, the iPhone that I lost five months ago fell out. Good job and good luck! I recommend him. read more

We use Egan anytime we do any major renovation or projects. He's prompt and quick with the clean up and pretty reasonable with pricing.

Excellent, responsive service. He came the same day I called, was straightforward on the phone about the cost, and was courteous. I had a small to medium sized pile of junk to be hauled. read more

Joe helped me haul away a ton of debris from a house we were putting up for sale. We were in a bit of a hurry to get it on the market, and he squeezed us in even though he had a full schedule. Joe is so wonderful to work with. I needed him to take a small load of things that had been building up in my mother's garage. He was on time and phoned to confirm his ETA twice! He is a nice guy and was willing to take things for recycle and to charitable organizations as well as to the dump. His price was reasonable. His truck is spotless. I'll call him again in a heartbeat if I ever have anything else that needs to be hauled. read more

Also found Joe on Yelp. I needed a small job done quickly. He told me his base price and I said that I would be unable to meet him at the site at that time but that I was fine with the price even if it needed to be doubled. He went and picked up the trash within 3 hours and called me to tell that it was done. When I asked how much I owed, he said it was such a small job and because he had to be in the area anyway, he would halve the price. Very reliable obviously and customer focused. I will use him again. read more

I picked Egan Hauling based on the comments on YELP and would like to confirm that all that is said is true. I wished it was so easy to do all things in my life as this was. I feel as if I've gained a new resource; someone that I would happily refer to my friends. read more

This guy is amazing. He is honest, works hard as hell, and makes the work seem like fun! He charged WAY LESS than he should have. Cleaned out entire garage out (full of junk) in less than three hours. Gave him and extra $50 for being so awesome. I always love to support my hometown business owners, and help support their family in the process. We will never use anyone else. GIVE THIS GUY YOUR BUSINESS!!! read more
