Ultimately, I called to set up an appointment. With tip a 40-minute facial was $50 ($40 + $10 tip). My mother very much seemed to enjoy the experience. However, it's unfortunate that they could not offer any specials or deals. I figured that since they're in the middle of Iowa, they'd have something to offer. But they stuck to their price, which was very middle-of-the-road. We drove from Council Bluffs to visit, but next time I'll find a coupon through Groupon in Omaha and get her an hour-long facial for 30 minutes. At least the salon was nice and clean, and conveniently located in downtown Atlantic.

From winter blond to dowdy gray and older looking in a matter of a few hours…read more Set an appointment two weeks ago to get my hair highlighted and trimmed. Arrived on time, asked for blond highlights. What I ended up with was Gray patches and my hair feeling like rubber. I told the stylist that I wanted blonde highlights and she told me that the Smokey color will wash out in a few washes. I didn't ask for Smokey highlights I ask for blonde highlights, you don't go into a salon to wait a couple of weeks for it to wash out to be the color you want. I was charged full price for their mistake and it looks like crap it is not what I asked for, it is not what I wanted. I didn't want to have gray hair! I wanted a nice bright spring summer look. And what I got is a dowdy looking hair color. Needless to say after crying for an hour I decided to post this on Yelp after getting very little response from their customer service. What is even more upsetting is that they didn't even offer to fix or correct their mistake. I gave this post a 1-star due to their lack of customer service, customer satisfaction, and they just didn't listen to what I wanted.

This is a very unprofessional place. When you call they never answer. They claim they'll call you…read moreback but they never called me back. The salon and massage are different businesses so I experienced that means the salon can't help you if you have a problem from the massage. The massage person cancelled on me twice then refused to respond to her phone until I told her I would report her. Suddenly she was ok to answer her texts. I reported them but they'll probably do nothing cause she'll CLAIM COVID. I don't recommend this one place to anyone. Especially not the massage therapist. She claimed the salon was closed when I know it was open because I was there! And the woman at the front desk, when I said she wasn't answering the phone said she had just got there, but I was there with her an hour earlier when she was given ng someone a haircut!!!!!
