Fantastic meal shared with old friends. We are Americans that used to live in Nootdorp, and we met some of our Dutch friends on a return trip. Cozy atmosphere, good staff, and well prepared menu. Food was carefully prepared and presented despite having a full crowd on a Tuesday night. My wife had the kip satay (very good) and I had the surf and turf (very good and a reasonable price--kept reasonable by being only a half portion each of a steak and piece of lobster tail). Fries for the table kept coming and were tasty. Drinks were of typical small Dutch proportions--so be careful if you are like me and tend to have trouble getting food down. All desserts were fantastic (our group had enough of all of them to compare). I especially liked the puur chocolade dessert that was a combination of a thick chocolate mousse spread onto a shortbread cookie with chocolate, hazelnut cream, and pear balls. read more
