I am not fond of paper work and the details of tax preparation. In fact, I'd put it on the par with my fear of sharks and germs. It's so fortunate that I have the help of such professionals Pamela Blair and Amanda Forbes. They have a nice relaxing office to visit even if you walk in stressed out, they will put you at ease. I love the feeling that someone else can now deal with all the receipts, notes, records, assorted bits and pieces. I highly recommend for any level of business and personal tax preparation.

Pattie was really responsive right from the start, unlike some of the other places I worked with before or tried to contact. As her yelp title states, she will come to you for your tax needs. She is super organized and was able to identify our problem right away. Despite her busy schedule, she got our returns fixed in a about a week. When we met again she basically did everything except for writing the check and mailing the documents out. All we have to do is to mail what Pattie prepared and we are done. We have worked with other tax professionals before but working with Pattie was the easiest thus far, she really takes care of her clients. We will certainly come back to her for our tax filings next year!

Jim seemed very personable, and we both liked him and so we decided to take him up on his offer which the only downside of was that he couldn't get started until after his "busy" season which lasted until Oct 15th. We had an appointment with him for next week, but just Today out of the blue after collecting mine, and my partner's personal information Jim informed my daughter that he was "too busy" to work with us. I find this to be VERY suspicious and will definitely be reporting this business to the BBB and anyone who will listen! VERY ODD and in my opinion, VERY SHADY!

Then two weeks before the deadline, only after we asked him for an update, he went back on his word. Being a professional means being able to estimate your available time and follow through on your word. Jim does not consistently do this for his clients. We spoke with Jim in January and he assured my wife and I he would be able to file our taxes. We sent him all our files Feb 27. He assured us again on March 5th he would start our file on March 15 after completing his corporate client work. On March 30th we asked for an update only to be told he was too busy to finish our file after stringing us along for months. This left us scrambling last minute to find another accountant shortly before the deadline.

The owner/tax preparer and employees of this "business" are completely inept, unprofessional, and…read moreincompetent people. Dante Meneses, the owner and the tax preparer who prepared my tax return, failed to ask me questions to gain an understanding of my financial situation to maximize my tax deductions and credits (i.e. pay less taxes). I had to do my own research to know what other (non-real estate) deductions I can and should take. He made three mistakes that caused me to pay more taxes than I really owed. I made another appointment with Dante to make the corrections and complete an amended tax return, but on the day of my appointment, approximately 1-1/2 hours before the appointment time, I received a call from Dante's assistant that Dante will be unable to make it to my appointment and that he would call me back to rebook the appointment. Ruth, Dante's assistant, hung up the phone when I was still talking to her. I called the office back and Dante's cell phone as well, but was unable to reach Dante. Dante never called, texted, or emailed me, or attempted to contact me in any way. Dante Meneses ignored all my attempts to meet with him for him to file an amended return. This business and staff are not to be trusted. They do an inadequate job at tax preparation and are unethical and unprofessional.
