Three

This branch of "Three" is located in the Trafford Centre, Manchester…read more The store is actually quite big, with a good number of staff working, but they don't seem to make the most of the store's size, and although it isn't huge, I know of many stores that would use the size better, and although it isn't really needed from a phone shop, this layout to me, makes it feel more high end and off putting. Ahead of joining Three in September, I have been around a few stores just to ask questions, and get a look at what customer service is like, having been disappointed all round with O2/ Tesco Mobile. The staff here seemed good, and willing to take about "Negatives" regarding the network. They told me to check online for the prices, rather than a book, I do feel one thing letting this store down is this, at least they should have prices on a device, or a slip at the side of each "major" phone on the display, so you don't have to get chatting and risk "pushy sales" regarding a simple price. They did not offer to find one for me. The staff members here, seemed happy to help, yet not in great detail, they didn't seem like they were eager to tell me more about the prices, and get me set down on a contract, which in a way is slightly negative, as I didn't mention my outstanding contact to them. They told me about improved signal, and just said "yes" that they do let you use your phone for free abroad in some countries, they didn't explain this well, which could of worked out negative, if I had bought a contract and didn't know it was just a select group of contracts. This is a nice store, but in a way it is very "basic" with the staff seeming nice, but providing information in basic form, a lack of pricing also costs this store, which adds to my comment on it seeming like a high end store. I would of liked to give 3 stars, but especially with the store being very "basic" and having a "high-end" feel, I think for now only 2 stars is possible, but hopefully I can upgrade this store in the future.

There doesn't seem to be as much going on at this Apple location, again compared to other larger stores, gone is the big LED screen and much of a seating area, but instead, you get the best selection of Apple products in the mall, the store is often well-stocked, in terms of product to demo and buy, and is spacious enough where you can demo the product without feeling crowded or like you are getting in the way. The selection of accessories is also pretty good, as well as the showcase of Apple's latest tech. As you'd expect with any Apple Store, the staff are friendly and their product knowledge is good. It may not be the most attractive Apple Store, but I still really like this one, with friendly staff and always a good selection of products, to demo and purchase. 4*

Brought my laptop to store as screen is glitching. Advised that it will cost £500 to fix, although…read morewas not told specifically what the issue is. They don't know know the issue but they know it will cost £500? This price is ridiculous as I've been advised that the issue could be screen connector to the motherboard, and that it shouldn't cost 500. Even more annoying is that I am still paying for this laptop! Update: Received calls from store about my experience, I asked them to call in the afternoon when convenient but they repeatedly called in the afternoon and now have stopped trying to contact me altogether. Very shoddy customer service. Please call me about my complaint asap. Apple certainly ain't what is used to be! UPDATE: Nearly a month later and I still haven't received my call!! The store is impossible to contact via phone and Apple chat is useless as they cannot do anything! Can the store please answer the phone? UPDATE: A manger was due to call me to help to me get through to the store via phone- yes, they organised a callback so an advisor could ring through to the store using the same tel number I do! It is ridiculous! No email or any other form of contact. I didn't get my callback so once again going through AppleCare. It has taken about 6-8 agents just to make a phone call to an Apple store and none of them has been able to make contact as the store do not answer the phone! Cust service is non-existent with this company! UPDATE: Still not able to contact store, numerous failed callback from managers, and useless Apple Care. All i want to do is speak to your store. Still waiting... UPDATE: Another callback failed!!! Apple Care call you, they cant get through to the store either, and so they leave you on the line holding!! UPDATE: Another failed callback. This company has serious flaws with it's cust service. They are not able to make contact with a store, despite trying for a month. Still waiting for my callback...

This O2 store is one of two branches O2 have in the intu Trafford Centre, which is the 2nd largest…read moreshopping mall by area in the United Kingdom, this branch, in particular, is located on the upper level of the mall on Regents Crescent. Compared to the other branch, this branch has been refurbished recently so feels nicer and it also is a larger branch too. I came in here with a friend, as a current O2 customer (myself) who is both very happy yet very unhappy with the service provided, for different reasons, I called in here to have a look at getting a tariff for my friend (But this has nothing to do with the referral bonus I get off my monthly bill...) The staff member working who served me didn't seem too helpful, she seemed to be making it up and just saying basic things like "the camera is better", "it is faster" to describe two Samsung phones my friend was looking at, before it slipped out she wouldn't buy any of them at all. The contract price offered was so expensive and as I recall it was £10 or so more expensive than a very similar deal she had already been offered with Virgin Mobile, sadly Virgin Media did not have a store in the Trafford Centre and just a poor mall kiosk offering basic, mainly TV and broadband packages. Overall, this store is just okay, and even saying that is generous with the below average service provided, hence the reason I feel the HPR (Highest possible rating) for this branch is 2 stars.
