Edy Embry did a fantastic job selling our house. It was an older house needing some updating, perhaps not what most buyers were looking for. Edy worked with us on pricing and staging and used her marketing and real estate network to get the job done. We moved out of state just before the house was prepped and then put on the market. Edy worked really well with us remotely. In particular, she made arrangements for cleaning, painting, staging, and power washing, all with people she knew and recommended, at prices we considered reasonable. She kept us informed and answered our questions promptly, with good cheer -- her speedy responsiveness was important to us. Edy listened well to us, taking our desires into account but making a case if she disagreed. We appreciated her encouragement, energy, and hard work throughout the rather emotional process. Edy helped set realistic expectations on pricing and was extremely helpful, in particular with decisions on lowering the price when appropriate. We definitely felt that she knew what she was doing. We are very comfortable with our choice of Edy as our listing agent, and we certainly recommend her to anyone selling a house in the 78704 zip code and probably anywhere else in Austin. read more

Edy helped us buy our first home in Austin and we are so glad we had her on our team! She went above and beyond for us - she accommodated early and late meeting times, she did facetime walk-throughs of homes, she dedicated a weekend to touring homes with us, and she stood in our place for many aspects of the inspection and closing process when we could not be there. We completed most of the process remotely out of state, and she made sure we stayed informed and everything was processed smoothly. She gave us great advice throughout the process and we would recommend her to friends and family in need of a knowledgeable realtor. read more

I can't recommend Edy enough. She is helpful, knowledgeable, professional and friendly. She's an experienced agent with extensive knowledge of real estate in Austin. My family wanted a new house and I wanted to keep our existing home. Edy showed us how we could do both! She gave me a high-level explanation over the phone. Then I attended a few of her real estate investing seminars. It took some time to do it all, but she guided us through the process. She had great advice for us on all the details of what to look for in a home, making our offer and negotiating the deal. We had lots of questions and she was an invaluable resource. Now, she's helping us list and rent out our current home. I couldn't be happier and highly recommend Edy. read more

Working with Edy was a joy! My friend recommended her after buying a house with her help and upon our first call, I knew she would be the realtor I hired to help me sell my home. I've worked with three other realtors in Austin to buy and rent my home and Edy was by far the best. I live out-of-state and was worried about how I could possibly sell a house without going back to Texas. Edy's real-estate experience and knowledge of the Austin market made it easy for me to know what to do, how to get it done, and trust that it would be done properly. She helped me navigate a quick sale and made recommendations that helped us get multiple offers. Her negotiation skills also helped me make as much off that sale as I could given the tricky market and who doesn't want that?! Edy is trustworthy, reliable, and sure to be the best choice when buying or selling your home in Austin. read more

Edy is amazing, she guided me through my first home buying experience. I wasn't sure if I would be able to find a house in my price range, but she found the perfect home for me. She corresponded with the lenders and the builders, she truly made this happen for me. She fought for everything I needed, like a lower interest rate, lower closing fees and inspection issues. She offered plenty of advice and helpful input. She made my experience very easy and smooth. Edy feels like family now, she even encouraged reaching out to her if I have future homeowner questions! I will be recommending her to everyone I know. read more

Edy is an awesome real-estate agent. Me and my wife were very happy and grateful to her for selling our house, she did a fantastic job! I had the house listed with another agent, but it did not go well, she took over and whatever magic she did, we got an offer within 3 weeks. She provided us with objective and essential information prior to listing the house, she is knowledgeable and I totally trust her opinion. As many seller will tell you, we were extremely anxious to get the house sold, and it was tough, but she was instrumental in making it happen! I highly recommend Edy, and I am glad she was on our side. read more

Edy has been our agent for two home purchases. She always has great insight into the market and gives knowledgeable advice. She makes you feel like she's a family friend, not just an agent. She's very personable, genuine and always has our best interests in mind. We had a rather challenging close recently and Edy was on top of every detail. There were many times during the process where my wife and I thought about how lucky we were to have her in our corner. Edy was there for us every step of the way. When the closing hit some snags with the seller, Edy was on top of every detail to make sure the sale still went through. She checked in with our loan agent, made sure our rate lock got extended (it would have expired without us knowing if she hadn't checked), and charged the seller for it since it was their error that delayed closing. She even did some of this while on vacation....talk about dedication! We finally ended up closing on the home with a lower purchase price than expected, and more repair $ paid by the seller than expected. All of that can be contributed to Edy and her guidance. I would highly recommend using her as your agent if you are planning on buying or selling a house. We've had experience with other agents before and won't go to anyone else. read more

As a first time home buyer I was nervous about the entire process, but Edy helped me through every single step of the process. Not only was I new to the buying experience, I was new to Austin and didn't have any local knowledge or contacts. Edy quickly picked up on our taste and showed us exactly what we were looking for and where we wanted to live. When we found the house we wanted, we found ourselves in a multiple bid situation and I know that Edy's reputation was a major factor in our bid getting accepted. She was amazing through the closing process. She referred us to amazing people that also cared and made she we stayed on track to close quickly. I worked with Edy this year (2019) on my home search in Central and South Austin. We started looking at existing homes and I eventually started leaning towards a new build in South Austin. Although the home builder was very responsive, I was extremely happy to have Edy on my side representing my interest throughout the eight month long construction process. Edy was extremely easy to work with, flexible to meet my schedule, and was a pleasure to work with. read more

Through an emerging pandemic, complex financial arrangements, and a litany of major challenges, Edy managed to get us our dream house, and quickly sell our old one. We highly recommend Edy to anyone looking for a realtor in the Austin area. Edy helped us purchase our first home and we could not have been happier with the level of knowledge and service that Edy provided. She was a great resource during the entire home-buying process and her response time to all of our questions was very quick. She was able to work around our schedules and meet us in the evenings and on weekends which was extremely helpful. In a fast moving market like Austin, we believe it is important to have a realtor that knows the area and knows how the market is behaving, which Edy does. Edy is very personable and easy to work with. During the ups and downs of our home-buying process, Edy helped us keep cool heads and make well informed, smart decisions. We will definitely work with Edy again for our future home, and strongly recommend her to anyone in need of a realtor. read more

Edy is an amazing real estate agent. I am really grateful to her for the incredible job she did selling my house. Just before my house was to go on the market, it FLOODED. I was in another state. Edy helped me to track down the source of the water, which wasn't easy (it turned out it was the water dispenser on the refrigerator that malfunctioned due to a power surge!) So then repairs had to be made, and Edy helped me through the whole process of getting the house back in shape. She provided essential moral support as well as contacts for repair people. Then she sold the house and had a lot of insight about vetting buyers and did a fantastic job with negotiations. This was the most difficult home sale I've ever been involved with, and I'm really glad I had Edy as my selling agent. read more
