I was happy when I decided to retain Mr. Koch but after I retained him I never heard from him. I called and called his office and left messages for his receptionist to give to him. He never once got in touch with me. I don't know if he ever got the message or just was overwhelmed with court cases he had but if there is too much of a workload then don't take on more cases. If that was the case. I unfortunately decided not to have Mr. Koch as my attorney due to the complete lack of communication on his end. I still believe Mr. Koch really does care about his clients and I know he's not the typical money hungry attorney. I think he just had too many cases at the time I retained him.

Communication was regular and friendly from either Andrew or his administrative team. He has a good rapport with area judges, which helps to determine how he will argue your case. From the moment I first spoke with Andrew Cornick during my consultation, I could tell I was…read moredealing with someone different. He was professional, confident, intelligent, and direct. More importantly, I immediately had the feeling that he was actually listening to me and that, if I put my trust in him, he was going to have my back. That meant more to me than I can adequately put into words. From the beginning of my case, I felt as though I had already been judged before anyone had truly taken the time to hear my side. Between my interactions with law enforcement, the magistrate, and eventually the prosecution, it was incredibly difficult not to feel like the system had already decided who I was and what had happened before I ever had a meaningful opportunity to defend myself. Andrew changed that. He stepped into an extremely stressful situation and immediately gave me confidence that someone was finally standing beside me and was prepared to fight for me. He never made promises he could not guarantee, and he never tried to tell me simply what I wanted to hear. He approached my case like a professional, explained what was happening, and made sure I understood the decisions in front of me. The prosecution offered me an agreement that would have required six months of alcohol and anger management classes in exchange for ultimately dismissing the charge. I understand that many people facing a criminal charge might consider an offer like that a blessing simply because it provides a path to dismissal without taking the risk of going forward. For me, however, accepting it would have meant agreeing to conditions for something I maintained from the beginning that I did not do. This became about more than simply making the case disappear. It was about standing by my principles and defending myself against an accusation I believed was wrong. I told Andrew I could not accept the offer. There was no pressure from him to take the easier path. There was no frustration because I was unwilling to accept the deal. Andrew walked right back into that courtroom prepared to fight for me. That moment is something I will never forget. When you are sitting in a courtroom and feel as though nearly everyone involved in the process is standing on the other side, having an attorney beside you who is composed, prepared, confident, and willing to advocate for you is an incredible feeling. Andrew was exactly that person for me. Ultimately, I was found not guilty, and the domestic assault charge against me was dismissed. After approximately six months of living with this hanging over my head, I finally walked out of that courtroom knowing it was over. I could move forward with my life. There was also something much more personal waiting for me on the other side of all of this. I had promised my daughter during her kindergarten graduation that I would take her to Disneyland. Because of everything surrounding this case, including being unable to leave the state, that promise had to wait. Now I finally get to keep it. Andrew, thank you. Thank you for listening to me when I felt like nobody else would. Thank you for treating me with dignity, for respecting the position I took, and for being willing to stand beside me when I refused to compromise on something that mattered deeply to me. Most of all, thank you for walking back into that courtroom ready to fight for me when I needed someone in my corner. I hope I never find myself in a situation like this again, but if I ever needed an attorney, I would want Andrew Cornick standing beside me. Strong, confident, intelligent, professional, and an advocate when it mattered most. I cannot thank him enough.

Looking for a great lawyer my recommendation. Robert W…read more Ackerman, P.C. Attorney at law. 904 Princess Anne Street, Suite 406. Fredericksburg, V.A. 22401 Phone (540) 373-5469 Fax (540) 371-5940 His updated info is listed above. This is why I recommend him. I learned more about my situation in two weeks from him then I did in eighteen months from the person handling my fathers will. Now he did take a little more time then I wanted him to. This only because I have been dealing with a boso before I contacted Mr. Ackerman. However, the outcome is well worth the wait. He was very professional taking over my case. Nice not just because I was a client I mean he is a really nice person that cares about people that are getting screwed over. Mr. Ackerman stayed on top of everything and we only contacted each other when needed. Trust me you don't have to keep calling him. When something new or important comes up he will contact you. The meetings and calls were kept to under an hour. Now that doesn't seem like much but trust me he is all about the work and getting everything wrapped up as fast as he can. With that being said from before he goes the extra mile to make sure if you ever do end up in court the outcome will be in your favor. So if show up with all the papers you have and tell him everything. He will be right on top of it that day if not the next. I dealt with Mr. Ackerman for around two to three months and it was well worth that time indeed. I finally had things back on track to get closed up in the next three months. Something that should have been done about a year ago from the other party. So with a little bit of time, you won't be disappointed when you choose Mr. Ackerman to represent you. So many things were wrong with my situation and i just felt like all I got were the run around from the other party. Even after I told them I had been in talks with a lawyer three months later they didn't care. Then had the nerve to try and give him the runarounds and he was not having it one bit. He started pulling all the paperwork dealing with my situation and even he was in shock the way I was being treated. With a little time, he got things back on track by force but in a nice way. We have finished our end for now. He told me to give him a call in three months if everything is not wrapped up and trust me I will. He was aggressive and profession in a polite way. He gave the other party plenty of chances to do the right thing. We would have gone to court and with everything he gathered, we would have won guaranteed. But like I said he gives the other party fair enough warning and chances before if he has to take action that way. Ok now for the part on how I found Mr. Ackerman. I called nine different lawyers and four different firms. Mr. Ackerman's name was who they all thought of as the first person to call as he specialized in my situation. I also called four different accountant groups. Thus to make sure how bad I was getting screwed over before I decided to go forward. I am and was 100 percent very satisfied With Mr. Ackerman. I strongly recommend looking him up and giving him a call to see what he thinks if you need to be represented. His current info is listed above as of 04/23/2019 From a very happy client Gregg.
