My water heater went out. The company that "diagnosed" the problem charged me $99 and said that…read morethis did not include the cost to replace it. The company then quoted me $2200 as the cost to replace it and reiterated that this did not include the $99 that they already charged me. I then got no less than 10 phone calls saying "please give us a call so we can talk about your situation. Some called more than once. Lakeland Heating and Cooling (Jason) was nothing like that... $1270 flat rate to replace the water heater. Yes, thats how he replied in his email.. as I requested. In May of 2023 I called out because my AC unit was not working. He came out here and tested and assured me that the coil in line was fine. I needed to replace my outside unit I paid him to do that 2 months later it was out of freon, and then he charged me again to replace the freon. By the end of summer he had to come back out again because it wasn't working and told me that the coil in line was bad. Then he told me he was laid up and could not do the work. I called back in the spring and the secretary assured me that they would take care of the problem. He came back out may of this year took one look at my crawl space and basically told me to go pound sand I have to find somebody else to do the job. So in conclusion he sold me a unit that I did not need and then would not complete the job from my experiences. I would not recommend these folks for anybody out of a scale from 1 to 10 I would rate them a negative 10 Also, my original unit was only 6 years old and of course he took that.

My entire cooling and heating system was left in an inoperable state…read more I called for a diagnostic of the air conditioner today because cool air isn't coming from the vents. I was told the diagnostic would cost $149. I asked to be informed of any repairs that had to be done. Technician checked the system and recommended replacing unit. We discussed replacement unit and cost. I was ready to pay deposit. In the next 10 minutes I was told that the model I selected is old and not available. New model costs $1000 more. I asked for a proposal to decide later. Technician told me that the visit costs $396. He said that he fixed air conditioner that was not working. He never told me that he is fixing anything. Through our the visit it looked like he was figuring out the problem. I talked to the owner and we agreed that any repairs that were done will be undone so that I do not have to pay for repairs. Then the technician removed all the wires from the board making both heat and fan unusable. He did not just undo the "repairs", but made entire system unusable including fan and heat which were working before his visit. See the photos to show what was done!
