My experience with Main St. Psychiatry and Dr. Joanne Parks has been absolutely stellar. Dr Parks…read moreand each member of her team is extraordinary. They are professional and at the same time construct a safe atmosphere for healing. At the cornerstone of Main St. Psychiatry's practice is Joanne Parks, M.D. In my opinion Dr. Parks is a highly skilled psychiatrist. She brings a myriad of skills including a very extensive medical background. She brings warmth and empathy to her patients Dr. Parks has helped me feel safe and able to grow. She validates patients'feelings . I believe Dr. Parks treats her patients, her staff and other parties with respect. She definitely goes the extra mile to help her patients She works extremely hard to meet her patients' needs. In this vein I emphasize that Dr. Parks is an excellent practitioner who exceeds expectations. I have always felt her care for me and my needs. Further she respects me. And she supports me. She carefully handles all matters, especially those that are sensitive Main St Psychiatry and Dr. Parks offer services beyond therapy and medication. At the center of these additional services are a treatment called Transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) TMS is a series of procedures that uses magnetic fields to stimulate nerve cells in the brain It's called a noninvasive procedure because it's done without using surgery or cutting. I have had TMS at Main St. and found it to bevery helpful. Overall, I would definately highly recommend Dr. Parks and Main. St. Psychiatry.

While I could type this GIGANTIC review and gush about how much Dr. Pitts from Clocktower has…read moreempowered me and my life, I will keep it simple and say this: Dr. Claudia Pitts is one of the most incredible, kind people I have ever met throughout my 47 years of life. Truly. I have been seeing her in one fashion or another for many, many years. We were first introduced when my father was passing away from Alzheimers and she was a tremendous help at that point. I then started seeing Dr. Terbovic afterwards and she was also fantastic. Over time, due to insurance drama during Covid, I had to switch therapists and they were not even REMOTELY as amazing as Clocktower. In 2023 things changed again and I was able to start seeing Dr. Pitts again. Since that time, my life has truly been enriched by her kindness, direction, and ability to listen and provide guidance and expertise. I have gone through a handful of new situations over the last year and she has been there every step of the way. From the bottom of my heart, THANK YOU to Clocktower for providing such fantastic support and feedback. I truly don't know where I would be without your incredible support! Side note - I noticed that there was a dramatic 1 star review for Clocktower and I kind of chuckle at it because it directly calls out pushing medication (?) however that is not something they even do here (LOL). They aren't psychiatrists, so I sort of laughed at that. It also calls out not being able to get a callback. That has NOT been my experience at all. Julie is beyond amazing (the office manager) and if I can't reach anyone the first time I call, she calls me back within a day or less. In any event, I don't mean to be rude to the 1 star reviewer - just make sure you are leaving a review to the correct business because yeah - they don't prescribe meds here ~.

Ever since, I have seen her at different frequencies over the course of these ten years. She has seen me through early adulthood, first relationships, moves across the country, and so much more. She fosters comfort, allows judgement free zones, and has always ALWAYS helped with me invaluable tools that have helped me conquer my anxiety over the course of these years. I could not be who I am today without her help, guidance and advice. Clocktower as a whole has been fantastic to my family and friends. I've recommended many a therapist to my loved ones. I have family that sees Dr. Pitts - who is so incredible. Family that sees Dr. David. Friends that see Dr. Haeffele. The practice is solid. Julie (billing/appointments/administration) is always willing to work things out and go above and beyond for us. She is a joy to see and work with when insurances are being funky. The day Dr. Terbovic retires, is a day that I will be sorely heartbroken. But I will be forever grateful for her and the work we've done together.

I have nothing but positive things to say about this group!…read more I know that choosing a counselor is personal and recommend that if you've never had one, you should have interviews with a few before selecting one. Personally I have worked with Kimberly with marriage counseling and with Brian for individual work. Both have been supportive and helpful in my healing journey and both are Christ-centered in approach. I have met with both in virtual environments, and with Brian in-person as well. I recommend that you do in-person with whomever you choose, because empathy and listening work better that way. If you do meet virtually, it's still effective, but the dynamic is a little different. Lastly, I would say that this group is friendly and accommodating when it comes to their administration and their managing of time and the business side of the practice. They treat you respectfully and have policies like the other groups, but they are willing to hear you out and treat you like a person, taking each situation individually to get ermine the best options.

When I called Dynamic Directions after looking for at the website, I was quiet surprised to find…read moreout that three of the five counselors on the website were not even working there anymore. The clinician on the phone was very nice, but when I went to see her for the first time she had no business cards to hand out, and for all I know she could have been a stranger on the street counseling me. It appears that the owner has not updated the website for a while, and does not seem to even be promoting the therapists that she does have. The therapist herself was very professional, nice, and seemed to know her stuff, but I just couldn't get over the fact that she had been working at Dynamic Directions for almost a year and their was nothing so much as a business card with her name on it. It seems mostly like poor and cheap ownership, which made me feel so bad for her counselors, but also made me feel like this was not the place for me to go. Also, if you can't even afford a billing person, then it makes me think that the practice in general is failing.
