At the agreed time several weeks later no one shows so I called to see if the we're coming. The guy who had been to my house denied having set a date (did I make it up?)... And the designer said the measurements were on his desk, that'd be a few more weeks and they'd get back to me..,I stayed calm and polite the whole time...and I never heard from them again. One thing I've learned from working with many contractors over the years is that if they can't keep appointments or agreed time frames just when you're still in the estimate stage, forget them!!
