I was told back in February of 2025 that she had filed an…read moreextension, as she had personal issues going on and was not going to have my tax return ready by April. I tried keeping in communication with her secretary over the course of the year and was hardly given information. Come this October I received a notice from the IRS that I had a penalty fee for "Filing my taxes late" in addition to a fee for paying my taxes late, past April. I made contact with Audra to get an explanation, as I was informed the extension was filed. Instead of reaching out to me herself, she had her secretary call to argue with me on the phone. Who told me my penalties were for paying late, not for the return being turned in late. That I should have paid early, and it is "common sense" to know an extension doesn't allow late payments. When I expressed that the reason I pay Audra Kirby to do my taxes was so I am properly advised by her, her response was I should have just known. With no acknowledgement to the taxes being filed late and if that extension was ever actually filed or not. Personal issues or not, this is highly unprofessional, and not a good way to do business with a paying customer who was more than understanding of the delay on her part over the course of the year.

They tried to site there agreement to us…read moreabout payment up front (very strange that a legitimate company would need payment up front.) but forgot that the agreement also said that it would have a list of charges, which we never received and only found out the charges after the fact, which where definitely well beyond the services provided. Her boyfriends response was "take it or leave it". Just a clear disregard of respect and professionalism. NEVER USE this service and I use the term service loosely.
