Came in with my Guardian Dental card. The appointment was at 10am. Ana seated me with the x Ray gown on for 10 minutes and didn't say a word. I took off the gown. At least tell me what's going on. Than I stay seated for another 30 minutes in a room to see the dentist. Ugh not cool. The dentist was awesome. Now for the awful part I was told by the receptionist that they would need to call Guardian to figure out when I would be able to get my dental cleaning procedure done. That's why I came in while I just called Guardian and they told me I was preapproved for my dental procedure. I don't like wasting my time now I called and changed my dentist. I brought my children here for the first time. They were due for their 6month check up. The wait time was long, but that was only the beginning. My children got x rays and just needed a cleaning. Done! No problem. One of my sons had previously had braces and the X-rays determined that he was going to need his 2 bottom wisdom teeth pulled. A procedure that couldn't be done there, but rather by an oral surgeon. Upon leaving they had no business cards or print out of oral surgeons they recommend etc. So I decided I was going to do my own research. When I called an oral surgeon to schedule an appt they suggested a referral in order to expedite the process and an appt can be made directly with the surgeon. Sounds simple enough. Called back Dr. Lopez office and they were too busy at the moment to help me. I called back the next day, again couldn't help me. Then I finally spoke to someone and they no longer have referrals because they gave away the last one without making a copy! So now I have to wait longer to just get a referral, that they are going to request from another office?! I will no longer be taking my children there. I will get my referral and be on my way, never to return. read more

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. I walked in and was told that they would polish my teeth for a 0$ copay and then to get a "deep cleaning" it would be 168. They offered me a "discount" to get it at $126 so I took it. The dental hygienist, if you even want to call her that, had her gloves on while throwing things in the trash. With the SAME GLOVES she started to clean my teeth. She took the brush and toothpaste and literally just touched each tooth. She didn't even get the left side of my mouth because she was standing on my right side. I had toothpaste EVERYWHERE from spinning omg the brush. Then the dentist came in with RUSTY TOOLS. Swear on my life. He took the water pick and drill and proceeded to stab me between each tooth. The water was going all over my face I was soaking wet. At one point he was talking to the dental hygienist with the drill still in my mouth, and was jamming it in my gums. No floss, no MIRROR. He literally just drilled the bit between each tooth and it was done. The entire deep cleaning took 4 MINUTES. I paid 125$ for 4 minutes of absolute shit. I never write reviews but honestly this place needs to be checked by the health department and be shut down immediately. read more

I love this dentist office. So far it's been the best experience I've had and this is coming from a person who has feared the dentist for majority of her life. The staff are super friendly, and kind. It's been a pain free experience through all my procedures and I appreciate that I get appointments scheduled promptly. I've been well attended and I appreciate that they have helped me out as best as they can. Plus, I appreciate the conversations and greetings I receive when I'm there. I have been trying for weeks to get someone from the office staff to get back to me about a referral they had to put through for me for my son to see a specialist (they didn't seem assured that they knew whether or not I had to have one when I was actually there for an appointment, even though I have an HMO -- they said to call the specialist's office first to see what they say). We went there over a month ago (on Dec. 10). Once when I called a couple days before new year's the woman who answered said that the person who does referrals was out but that the referral paperwork was there and to try again after the holiday. I called on Jan 2nd and no answer. I call every couple days, always get the answering machine -- actually someone picked up once and told me the referral specialist would call me at 7, but nobody ever did. Today I stopped by the office to try to speak with someone in person but it was closed and the decal on the window that lists the hours of operation has the numbers peeled off so it only looks like "Open __:00 to __:00." I tried to get help with this from the dentist's office I need the referral to but nobody there can help either. The dentist's name I got on the card from Dr. Lopez's is old and has a name of a dentist that's not there anymore --- they did tell me that when they gave me the card but I would've asked them to write down the current dentist if I knew it was going to turn into such a big deal. AS OF 4/3/17 My interaction, or lack of it, with this office that is so questionably unavailable it's hard for me to believe in their validity as an actual licensed office, has gotten even worse. A few months ago someone called me from here from a private number at 7:30 or 8 pm to tell me my son hasn't had a check-up with them for a year or however long it has been since we last had the misfortune of going there -- I was in the middle of so many things when I got the call I just assumed it was the office he goes to making the call and told them that they should check their records, because we were there recently. It didn't even occur to me that it would be Lopez dental, because they don't do my son's check ups -- children's dentistry is considered a specialty and Lopez Eduardo dds isn't a specialist's office. If they need to see us once a year to make sure they get some money for being the office that writes referrals -- maybe that's what's going on to cause my current horrible experience with them...? IF so, someone from there is going to need to make that known. Because what's happening is that both myself and my son's actual dentist's office have been trying to reach them for over two months, no response at all. I stopped in person by the office twice with nobody there. My son needs a check up and we haven't been able to have one because Lopez dds is so absolutely nonresponsive and unprofessional. i"m making a complaint to the dental board but have been putting it off because I don't really even know how to start and what will constitute actual negligence vs what will sound just like my personal complaints. Also, after all the the trouble I had with them around the time I wrote the earlier part of this review, I was finally able to reach them and the woman made it sound like she'd just continued to avoid me because she knew she'd already screwed up -- she said something like "I know you're mad at me" as an excuse, I guess, for not responding. So -- maybe she read the Yelp review -- i don't think I sounded very mad on all the messages I left, just worried and frustrated. Anyway, if someone from the office is in fact reading this, you might want to respond to your voicemails or at least to your incoming faxes, as my son's dental office has both called and faxed you. read more
