After all those years (and all that money) I went to another Doctor of Naturopathy who, after hearing my story of symptoms and struggle, doing a full exam (which Dr. Andersen never did), and running a simple blood test, I am undergoing treatment for Lyme Disease and it seems to be helping. Dr. Andersen was not pleased that I decided to see another practitioner and refused to give me a copy of my medical records, though I offered to pay for them. I called and left messages. I spoke to her personally. I sent several emails. And still did not receive a copy of my records that are my legal right to have. I sent a certified letter in the mail only to have her refuse to sign for it. Next, I am going to have to hire an attorney just to get my records. This is horrible and unprofessional and suspicious. I've sense talked to others in Newport, Oregon who have attempted to use her for their medical care, but quickly (unlike me) learned that she is manipulative and dishonest, and really knows very little about the healing modalities she recommends. I wish I had realized this about her, before, but I was in such a vulnerable, fragile state due to my chronic condition. I put too much trust in her, did not listen to my suspicions, and wasted several years and a lot of money.
