This is our favorite pool to go to in the summer! I really like that it's covered so we don't have that Tucson sun glaring down on us. There is a section of the pool that's really shallow so it's easy for my toddler to walk around and get used to the water but it's also deep enough for my oldest to practice swimming. There is a lazy river, but it's restricted to 13 and older, which I don't mind because if it helps keep people safe then so be it. It's not a big deal. The lifeguards are very kind and very attentive and overall it's just a really great place to swim in the summer. read more

The "lazy river" was a huge attraction, but it has been restricted to 13 year olds and up. The waterfalls no longer operate. The lap lanes have extended farther into the pool area, closing off the deeper end of the pool, and reducing the available areas to only a small shallow section. Very disappointing. It's all good if that's how you want to run your operation, but you are misleading the public with these restrictions. Whoever is overseeing this should provide accurate information outside of the building and online. read more

The life guards don't let the kiddos have any fun. They are constantly reprimanding them for stuff like playing!

The staff is exceptional. The showers are always clean and very safe. I only wish that I could go 5 times a week. But, I do not have transportation. read more

Very rude entitled life guards. You cannot even have your child in the pool with a life jacket without having to hold their hand or life jacket. They claim that a life vest doesn't always work. I would never go back to this pool. read more

This should now be called an Adult workout pool. The lazy river, which was the big draw for my grandkids, is now a 13yr old and up, walking only exercise zone. The lap pool ropes have been moved so far over that the kids can't swim in the deep end of the pool. If you're over 3ft tall, all you can do is walk around in waste deep water. They didn't even have the fountains on. Very disappointing. We loved this pool, especially being a covered pool. Won't be going back. read more

The pool used to be open from 11 am to mid-late afternoon. But it's winter time. So you can only swim in the lap pool from 6 to 9 am and 11 to 1 pm. I used to love swimming there no more. I'm very disappointed. read more

Great pool. Love the lazy river. The kids have so much fun with all the water features. And it's a walk-in pool too. Bathrooms are big and spacious and they come with showers. Wonderful facility very clean. You don't have to wear sunblock the pool is covered. read more

Negatives: no floating devices from home allowed, no food or drink or snacks. Lots of rules in general Overall great! Very attentive life guards, shower facilities available, lockers available (bring your own lock),floating devices for the little kids-but if the kids wear them they must have their parent near them. Even in the shallow area. Huge shallow area- super for the littles. Whole area is SHADED! Best part is that it's FREE at Least right now (I think it probably has to do with covid relief and increased community funding ) thank you democrats... at least for that. read more

In this case, you get far more than you pay for. My kids and I enjoyed a recent free swim here. It is entirely shaded! The shade is wonderful. The water features and lazy river are a lot of fun. As other reviewers have pointed out, there are a lot of rules and very attentive life guards. But Ill take a clean, safe pool over one with few rules. Love this place with my kid. The best part is that it is totally covered outside! Nice "beach entry" for the little ones.

They have THE RUDEST people working here. They act as if any question you ask is a bother. Without notice they decided to change the time of their swim summer class. Didn't even send an email, they just said sorry when you got there at your scheduled time and said "there was a system error we're working on notifying". What the hell is the point now? We're all here at the time we signed up for, but now class begins 15 min later. One of the desk attendants yelled at a parents for being outside by the pool with her child who was left unattended by the instructors for 20 min. She had to explain that no one was watching her child. The attendant looked bothered she had to do her job. Disappointing. read more

The outdoor lap pool is ready for lap swimmers and recreational swims at 82 degrees. If you are lucky, you can watch the airplanes from the AFB while you get your exercise in. The fact that they are still not charging an entrance fee amazes me. The woman's locker room was clean and had plenty of lockers. Bring your own lock. The staff and patrons are friendly and inclusive. Check times on line for your activity, as the daily schedule varies. I did not use the indoor therapy pool, but there was always an active group in there. There is also a scale in the woman's locker room, if you're into that sort of thing. read more

Worse experience for a public pool. Waste of time. Why do you ask kids to have swimming diaper and then another diaper over? It's ridiculous. I was about to sign up for LA fitness to use their pool but discovered this community gem instead! For $2 a swim I'm assured now that my tax dollars are going toward at least one awesome thing. There are very limited places to swim in the area and I would definitely recommend this over signing up for LA fitness if you're just looking for a pool. The lap pool has four lanes, is clean, and warmed year round, and I believe 25 yards. Most of the time I go I haven't needed to share a lane. There is a lifeguard there at all times. It's right adjacent to the kid pool which has a pretty little waterfall/fountain thing. They supply kickboards as well. The locker room is spacious with plenty of showers and changing rooms. It's pretty clean for a community pool (and non-inferior to LA fitness' pool in terms of cleanliness actually), though I wouldn't walk around without slippers. Bring a lock! The open swim hours are pretty convenient (check the website), but they are closed on Sunday. read more

It's a maze to actually get to the pool area. The shore style swim/wading area for the kids is pretty nice and fun. The one lifeguard who turned the water features on for our sole family using the pool would have made it 5 stars (thanks to that guy) but the long walk in and out when you can easily see a direct entrance and exit that's off limits for no apparent reason, that in a strange way adds to the abundance of rules for kids, and then no toilet seat covers drop it a star. read more

We have a toddler we have his swim trunks and swim diaper. That was not enough they said the trunks need a mesh net inside or plastic swim diaper cover and sent us to target/Walmart to buy one. We didn't find any boys plastic swim diaper covers only girls and non of his size. BUT we did find trunks with the mesh netting inside yay problem solved! WRONG. we showed them we got what they required and they said no it's not enough he needs a plastic swim diaper cover. We spend money on something they said they accept for them to say it's not accepted, seriously. Not worth the trouble just go to any close school that has a pool there more fun anyways! since toys and floaties also aren't aloud at this pool. They were so indirect with what they required for toddlers it seemed like they were making the rule up as they were talking to us. Almost like they just didn't want toddlers in the pool. read more

It's a very fun and cheap activity for kids In the summer! Unfortunately though I have received mixed information when I drive from Rita Ranch to bring four children to swim about the requirements.... so for EVERYONE PLEASE KNOW YOU NEED LIFE JACKETS THAT SPECIFICALLY SAY USCG APPROVED AND HAS A STAMP THAT SAYS MARINE LISTED. Pictures are posted for examples that are allowed (red one) and the (blue one) is not approved because it did not have these specific words on it. Which is completely understandable but was excepted In Prior visits. They do lend out life jackets that meet the requirements but apparently one per family is allowed... no exceptions. Also they do not give refunds but did give us passes they claim to be free although I paid this visit and didn't swim.... so not free. So just know this info before visiting so you do not end up w disappointed children and wasted gas lol I do not typically complain but I expect consistency with rules so situations like this don't happen. read more

The pool feels very dirty. It's stained and full of leaves. Nice building but why not clean the pool???

For $2 this place is unbelievable. Must try if you like pools. It's warm and disability friendly. There are lots of exercise tools and the lifeguards are super friendly. Great for injury rehabilitation. I wish every community had a place like this. read more
