Covered by a thicket of bamboo and other pleasant overgrown greenery, you'll find yourself transported to a small haven where you can read, meditate or commune with nature (and cats!). It felt almost like a fairytale land. I found it very cool to have a private park inside of an already amazing park. It's a pretty fantastic, and in my experience unprecedented, idea to have a secluded area in a park so that denizens can just relax to themselves. There's a small lending library, a shrine to our Lady of Guadalupe next to a cave and plenty of colorful benches for peeps to relax on. Subtle classical and world music adds to the atmosphere. So if you're feeling ennui or need to escape the chaos of everyday life, this could be the perfect antidote.
