I wish i could give zero stars, absolutely ABSURD and disgraceful customer service from the "manager/owner" "Rebecca" if that is even her name. We have ordered from this location multiple times in the past and never had an issue, she even said yes we have ordered 4 times before from their location as she could see, and this is the first time i have ever had to call with an issue. I thought it would be an easy fix, but as i found out this owner does not want to take any responsibility or accountability for some product not being fresh. When our strawberries were delivered sunday, we immediately tasted that they weren't fresh or had been thawed, either it was made a long time in advance and had been sitting in the fridge too long, or they just didnt use fresh produce from the start, but right away the taste was that of a frozen but thawed strawberry, not at all fresh. Which was not ideal but we were going to leave it alone as we have ordered here before, HOWEVER, the next day ( less than 24 hours after delivery) there was MOLD on the strawberries, i called the store and explained calmly that we've never had an issue with the store before and usually am happy with their product, but clearly these are not "fresh" if they're molding already the day after delivery.. and so i would please like a refund. especially since edible arrangements has a "100% freshness guarantee" ...anyway the girl on the phone asked if i could take a photo of the berry with mold, i did and sent it to her, she said yes she got the picture and she sees the mold but a manager would have to call me to issue a refund.. the next day the manager calls and tries to ACCUSE ME OF PHOTOSHOP! I was shocked, she said because the background behind the berry was black that i must have photoshopped it... are you kidding me? why would i go to the trouble of photoshopping a photo, taking my time calling back and going back and forth with her to get a refund when i have ordered from them multiple times... suddenly the 5th time i'm ordering from them i'm a liar and apparently a photoshop expert?? It was so insanely disrespectful on her part that of course I started getting frustrated explaining it was a black background because i was holding the strawberry above my trash can so the background is of the black empty trash bag and that if they have specific requirements for what the background of the photo needs to be when trying to prove an issue, then the employee i spoke to who also looked at the photo should have asked me to take another with a different background, angle, etc.. she did not. she told me she got the photo, she saw the issue, and that she'd send it to the manager. i didn't think twice about the color of the background or what was in the photo other than the moldy strawberry. the "manager" even said yes it looks kind of moldy/bruised, so she sees that, but doubled down that it must be photo shopped because she didn't like the "background"... the lack of accountability is wild.. like mistakes happen! you didn't use the freshest produce this time! fine, no problem, take accountability, give a refund, and move on.... and i would have probably ordered again.. the way this manager "handled" the situation was completely uncalled for. she didn't even deny it was moldy, she just didn't like that the background of the photo was black...so since we apparently need to have an FBI level of detective skills to prove to this woman it wasn't a photoshopped photo, i sent her a photo of my nail polish that i currently have, proving the thumb holding the berry in the first photo has the same polish, it's clearly me holding it and not a doctored photo.... i can't believe i even had to go to this length, and still she refused to just give me a refund. will never order from this location again. if you ever have an issue they will accuse you of lying rather than take any responsibility... the fact she saw i'm a repeat customer and still chose to accuse me of lying is a level of outrageous that i still can't understand. BEWARE. there are much nicer places to order from. read more
