Let me give a bit of background about myself before I share my experience this afternoon. Since I've been 18 y/o I've held management positions from shoe stores to fast food at every job I've ever had. I'm a nurse leader at a local hospital for the last 14 years. The reason I'm adding this is because I've never treated anyone the way Edible Arrangements in Depew STORE #1065 has treated me as well as my nursing team! I'm out sick right now.......my team ordered an arrangement to de delivered today (as advertised). I received a message on my phone at 12:18 pm that I had missed the delivery and to call back to set up a new time. I called back at 2pm. A very rude young girl (as already reported in previous reviews) said that I missed the delivery and would need to set up a new time for tmrw. I asked her what time were they at my house because my RING hadn't shown anyone near my house. She clarified "well we were going there and you didn't answer so we didn't deliver". Oh so I didn't miss a delivery then?? Well as for tmrw I have two doctor's appointments one in the am and one in the pm. I'll have to leave my house by 9:50 tmrw. Her response our drivers don't come in until 9:30am. Well ok then I'll be home by 3pm which is in your delivery times you just gave me! Her response with her completely annoyed tone....."they don't go to orchard park at that time but you can pick it up when you're out"! I could not believe what I was hearing! Soooooo my response was as follows : First I didn't miss a delivery because the order never left the store correct? Next you do understand the reason for the arrangement is because I'm out of work sick right so I will not be picking up the order EVER! Well it's 2pm now and I'm home and I'm not leaving the rest of the evening. You're delivering until 5:30 right, so go ahead and deliver. Her response "yeah we are booked for the rest of the day". Ok so can they get reimbursed for the order because obviously this is not working? No they can't! Ok I'd want to speak to a manager. Not a work exchanged but hold music came on so I assumed Susie sunshine was getting her manager......A women answered the phone with can I help you? No introduction a first name or who she was in the hierarchy of the store. This is the part that blew me away.....she was annoyed with me as soon as she spoke! A manager being aggressive with a customer???? What is going on!!!! I've shown more empathy when a customer's coffee wasn't hot enough and apologized for it!!!!! As a manager there are many people I've had to apologize to for the actions of others......sometimes they were right sometimes not but I always known no matter what the customers/patients whomever are to be dealt with a professionalism, kindness and curiosity......that goes with the position! Obviously at Edible Arrangements in Depew....they missed the mark! The manager was non accommodating what so ever! I told her it's 2pm I'm home you're delivering until 5:30pm correct. Her repose was "nope that doesn't work. We're really busy"! My response "ok then I'd like my nurses to be refunded their money as obviously this is not going to work." Her exact response "Yeah fine"! I started to ask for her name While thinking of saving time when my nurse calls back and asks for her directly (because she is working right now at the hospital and doesn't have time for the nasty teen queen) she hung up on me!!!!! I called back 10 times they'd pick up the phone and hang up! Disgusting treatment!!! Read and trust these reviews. Btw my next contact was corporate. Filed a complaint and already had a response with a call back with a date and time. I will tell everyone DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS TRASH STORE!!!! Unless the person you want the delivery to accommodate THEIR delivery schedule!!!! My girlfriend ordered me a strawberry bouquet for valentine's day. When it arrived, it looked delicious and they brought it right upstairs to our apartment. However, upon opening it I was disappointed to two long black curly strands stuck to two of the chocolate covered berries and a short piece of grey hair caught to a third berry. Received cheesecakes (4) and brownies (2) for my birthday. They arrived cold and looking delicious. The pumpkin was really tasty and the original with a strawberry was good as well. You do need to eat the strawberries fairly quickly as they will get watery on top your cheesecake. Eat within two-three days. I ate one immediately as I had the chocolate covered ones before and the strawberries went bad cuz I didn't eat them quickly enough. Didn't think the brownies would be good so I didn't eat one till the next day. I was pleasantly surprised at how good it was. You do have to be home to take delivery or to a neighbor or they go back to the store. As a gift, that would be annoying to me. This was a great gift to receive. read more

Stopped by to take advantage of an offer to get a discounted smoothie or fruit cup for $1.99. While I was appreciative of this offer ... I was annoyed by a few things. Something so simple seemed so complicated .... 1. All stores do not have the fruit smoothies. Therefore the smoothie was not an option. 2. You HAVE to place the order online and schedule a pick up. Not knowing this I arrived at 3:30, called to verify that the order had to be done online, then proceeded to completing the order and my option for pick up was 5:30 or 6. 3. There is always a limit of 1 offer Otherwise all was pretty good. It would seem to me that this offer could have been made simpler by just making up the cups and allowing them to be purchased from the store. The whole process just seems a bit unnecessary read more

Placed an order of $250. They forgot half the order then scrambled to get it delivered later in the day. Ruined the surprise and refused any kind of partial refund. I called and got a rude worker on the phone. I would recommend not ordering from here. read more

I cannot believe how incredibly rude the staff was. I placed an order on Monday online around 3:00pm. I received a call at 3:45 saying they could not get my order out today. Understandable with online orders snd not knowing what is going on in the store. Instead of an apology, I received attitude and told they close at 5pm, so too bad my order wasn't going out today. Ordered $190 arrangement to be sent to an administration department for a business that I work for. The wrong trays were delivered, and when edible called to say there was a mix up of orders, the receiving company explained that they had already started eating them. The drivers response was "oh well, I guess enjoy what you've got". Upon that poor response, the secretary sent me a picture of two little small trays, which was not nearly enough to feed the company, and was frankly not what I ordered. When I called up the edible arrangements, I was given attitude and was disappointed with the poor customer service. They told me that another tray had been delivered on top of that which it had not been. That was untrue. Eventually after multiple phone calls, another tray was sent to the company, but I never received a phone call back from edible explaining that they were sorry about the mixup or that it had been rectified. There was zero communication letting me know what was done. What should've been a nice gift to a company ended up being terribly inconvenient for both myself who was on vacation and the receiving company. We were all pretty disappointed. read more

I've ordered arrangements without issue before but this is the first time with this location. The placement is random, and the fruit seems sparse and brown. I paid $100 for this. =\. I'm going to the Orchard Park location in the future. Follow up: I've never done this before but I complained to the corporate office. The franchisee called back and apologized and refunded my money. I added another star to the review for their responsiveness. Kudos to the owner and management. Here's hoping the next arrangement is better. read more

I called the day before I was to pick up the arrangement I ordered for my parents anniversary, the woman who answered the phone told me I had not asked for 10 am pickup, I replied that I had and had the printed out receipt of my order in front of me, - oh! she said what's your name and what day did I order. It took me a few seconds to look and reply, but enough time that she repeated her question again, more loudly. But I was able to confirm the correct time. The day I picked up the arrangement, I pulled up and called the phone number to let them know I was there. The woman who answered told me it was on the table in front of the store, it was not and told her. She said the table is indeed there, she could see it from inside. I said yes table is there, but no arrangement. Well, she said, I have to bring it out!! The arrangement was very good, fruit was delicious my parents reported, and they enjoyed the chocolate and cheesecakes very much. So if you're willing to endure rude employees, the edible arrangement is actually very nice!! 4 stars because of the rudeness. read more

Ordered for Mothers day 2019 they took the money and never delivered , Called the Tuesday that it was never delivered , extremely poor service , there only option was take the money back. or we can deliver now, WOW will caution every one from ordering at this crappy place . read more

I ordered a birthday box where you can customize which fruits you get, it came in beautifully. I was unfortunately a bit late for my pickup time and the woman there was still plenty friendly and accommodating, despite it being after closing, I will definitely order from there again for another gift! read more

Called today to have some chocolate covered strawberries delivered to my husband who was home sick. Paid for the arrangement & delivery (also wrote a note to my husband saying "get well"), but was called by my husband a few minutes later saying he got a call from Edible saying they couldn't deliver them because their driver had fallen ill and if he wanted them he would have to pick them up or wait until tomorrow. They ruined the surprise and wanted my sick husband to get in the car and pick them up himself. Decided to cancel all together. Pretty disappointed : / read more

Not impressed at all! Got to the store to pick up my order, it was the wrong bouquet and I paid extra money to get extra fruit dipped and the fruit was not dipped! The staff dipped the fruit but took an extra half an hour. Really disappointed considering how expensive these bouquets are. Will not be ordering from here again. read more
