They are friendly, caring, thorough, and they really put you at ease. I talked to Dr. Nandra about some pain I was having in my TMJ and after checking some things around my jaw and asking some questions, she suggested a splint to alleviate the pain. She also speaks fluent 'mouth full of tools, fingers and existential dread' I'm over here sounding like a malfunctioning robotic swamp monster and she's nodding like I just delivered a TED Talk. My family can't even understand me when I'm NOT at the dentist. Same with Dr. S.- I'm in the chair making noises like a rubber chicken being launched out of a cannon, and Dr. S replies, "Yes, that's a great question about ways to alleviate TMJ jaw pain- let me show you afterwards". The office itself is comfortable and convenient. There's good parking, a pleasant waiting area, and thoughtful touches throughout--like complimentary bottled water--that make visits more pleasant. Every aspect of the practice, from the welcoming front desk to the modern and recently updated treatment rooms, reflects a commitment to their patient comfort and exemplary care. Friends that I have referred here have thanked me as they feel they have finally found a dental team that they are comfortable with and provide amazing care. Frechtman Family Dental squeezed me into their schedule at the last minute, first thing in the morning the DAY BEFORE Thanksgiving to fix my tooth so I didn't have to go too long with my tooth broken. Dr Frechtman did an amazing job, and my fixed tooth looks great! I am forever grateful. My second visit was earlier today for a routine exam/cleaning, and again, I was very happy with my visit. Everyone who works there is so kind, helpful, and welcoming. The office is very clean and neat, has a very relaxing/calming atmosphere, and is of course following COVID protocols. Very hesitant to go see someone new; I had just gotten dental insurance back, so I figured it was time to take the leap. I walked in at 7AM and was greeted by Kathy who came out and shook my hand behind the desk. The dental hygienist (I cannot remember her name - the very blonde one) brought me back and said they tour new clients around and handed me a gift bag. Was I at a spa? This place is unreal how nice and pleasant everyone is! After getting my teeth cleaned and examined, Dr. K came in smiling ear to ear. He was so welcoming and shot some witty jokes out within the first 2 minutes of being there. He took his time with me and seemed to truly take an interest in our conversation. After a little while we were laughing about all his guitars on the wall and jamming along to Alanis Morrissette. Apparently he is in a few bands! Dr. K kept complimenting what great teeth I had, I think I said to him "Dr K, I feel like a rockstar!" at one point during the session. Even though he sent me home with several cavities that day, I went straight to work after and told everyone what a great dentist experience I just had. I ended up needing two cavity sessions within about a 2 week period. I was super nervous as I knowingly have a very low pain tolerance. Dr. K was so calming and assuring that if I felt ANY pain, to let him know. I went through the whole procedure with no pain! Needless to say, I highly recommend Dr. K for first timers in the area that have been hesitant to find a new dentist. You will think you are at a spa for a moment!
