This place is run so poorly. They book as many appointment as they possibly can and then they…read morecancel your appointment the day of because they're always over booked. Today they tried to cancel my appointment for the second time. They market themselves as being fast but the reality is they get you in the door and the second you book you have to pay in full. Then they string you along for months canceling appointments knowing you're stuck with them because you paid in full. They say you'll be done in 3 months but I'm on month 4 and still am not even close to being done with this. This manager Dana is unprofessional and out of touch. I made my appoint a month ago after they canceled my last appointment and they decided to cancel me the day of about 3 hours before my appointment for the second time. Dana was horrible. She just kept telling me over and over that I can just come tomorrow it's nots a big deal. But if she wasn't so out of touch she'd realize I work for myself and canceled my entire day to be here and wanted me to miss out on an entire days work again because they're greedy. Insane! The dentists in this office deserve to be treated better they're people too not just money makers for this company. Imagine being a dentist and trying to keep up with a schedule? This place runs on greed and they need a new manager badly.

I do not recommend Dr. D'apolito at all. I made an appointment with "Melissa" who works in his…read moreoffice and I explained at that time that I wanted a cleaning. She was lovely and professional. She relayed that the Dr, D'apolito would want to examine me before he did the cleaning. I agreed as long as I would not be required to take x-rays. (I explained that I cared for a close relative who died from a brain tumor so I avoid x-rays when ever possible.) I did, however, have a full set of x-rays sent over from my former dentist who had retired. Melissa stated that she would note on my chart that I would not be required to have x-rays. When I arrived at the appointment, Dr. D'apolito began his examination. I must add at this point that although he advertises himself as "Gentle Dentistry," he was quite rough pushing my head from side to side and stretching my lips. I have had other oral exams that were done with much more gentleness. Then Dr. D'apolito diagnosed me as needing an implant replaced and two root canals re-done. I told him that I was not experiencing any discomfort at all and would like to think about his suggestions. I was polite and courteous. When the exam was over, I returned to Melissa's desk in order to schedule the cleaning. It was then that I was told that Dr. D'apolito would not do the cleaning unless I had x-rays taken so he could address the other work he advised that I needed! I was stunned! I told Melissa that I was clear when I made the appointment that I did not want x-rays. I stated that I needed to think about the other work that the doctor wanted to do; but my purpose on that day was to schedule a cleaning. Melissa stated that the Dr. D'apolito would not do the cleaning and then told me my fee for the day. I replied (very respectfully) that I felt that I had been misled. I had been clear when I scheduled the appointment that I wanted a cleaning. So from the backroom, Dr. D'apolito shouted, "Let her leave!" Wow. I guess he was angry because I was not yet a big paycheck for him. It's clear to me that Dr. D'apolito 's main interest is his wallet and not his patient's well-being. Ironically, I probably would have had the other work done but at that point, I no longer trusted him. He is more a mercenary than a physician.

She was also very pleasant, answered all of my questions honestly, and made me very comfortable. Usually going to the dentist is an overwhelming thing for me, but everyone in the office really made me feel better. Even the hygienist (I forgot her name, but she took my xray photos) was super nice and answered my questions about the xrays. I ended up starting a 12 month plan with them. I paid $350 and thats covered my visit for that same day and also my next cleaning visit, plus I get 15% off future services -- like my fillings I am going back for in 2 weeks. If you have dental anxiety, I seriously couldn't recommend this office enough!!
