I have gone through the years absolutely hating my dentists. They were rude and complacent just to tell me that I don't take care of my teeth when In fact I found out that gum disease runs in my family. I wasn't told how to brush or floss my teeth properly and ended up in tears. When I had my first appointment with Dr. Alb I was hesitant because I didn't want happening what happened in previous years. His staff is amazing, they are all friendly and forthcoming about making sure you are comfortable and feel good. Dr. Alb himself is a very outgoing person, full of laughs and conversation. I found out on my first appointment about my gum disease, 13 cavities, a root canal, and a possible implant for the future. I was scared he was going to lecture me like every other dentist would but he didn't. He thoroughly explained the process and how to maintain healthy gums. Their hygienist Terry is a very sweet woman. She has answered all my questions in a way I understood, told me about different mouthwash, toothbrushes, and floss. I feel completely confident in my new dentist and his staff to help me have healthy gums and not lose my teeth. Also the receptionists are very kind and help me out with the insurance part so I know how much I'm going to pay so I can budget myself on what is important to take care of first in his office. Also what is nice is that their office sends out emails and text messages about the appointment so it serves as a reminder and if you want to cancel you can through text or email. I will be referring Dr. Alb and believe his practice deserves 5 stars. read more

After FB suggestions that Dr Alb is a great dentist I made an appt. But, I wouldn't know bc apparently making an appt with him means you'll see him OR another provider?!!! Oh, and I love that this dentist looks at your X-rays but not even in your mouth and determines that you need a root canal and crown when you have NO pain!!!! (This happened before and I was told by three dentists after that it was absolutely NOT needed. That was in 2009, and until now haven't had one. What kind of business is this??? read more

Today I did the responsible thing and actually went to the dentist. I broke a tooth and wound up needing a root canal. Now I have dental anxiety when it comes to the dentist and this man was very understanding about that. He gave me all the options that i could of have done. He didn't dismiss my fears like some doctors might have. I will say I will be going to this practice for the foreseeable future read more

I was advised I needed a root canal by Dr. Alb a couple of weeks ago. I panicked, because I had a very bad experience years ago, and I haven't had any root canals since. When I told Dr. Alb of my fears, he said not to worry, that I would be amply anesthetized, and I wouldn't feel any pain. This was a tremendous fear for me because the last time I had one, I told my dentist that I wasn't "numb enough" for him to start, and he disregarded it. I was in so much pain during the procedure, it needed to be stopped mid way, and I left the office and never went back. This time, they suggested that I come in early to allow the injections plenty of time to take effect. During the procedure, when I felt a hint of pain, I told Dr. Alb, and he immediately gave me another injection. Now that the procedure is over, I'm still a bit sore, as to be expected, but I feel fine. I would recommend anyone who has a fear of any type of dental procedure to meet Dr. Alb and discuss it with him. read more

Dr. Alb has been my dentist for as long as I can remember. I wouldn't go to anybody else. I have moved a little bit further away and I still wouldn't think of going anywhere else. Dr. Alb is a great dentist who cares about his patients. His staff is amazing as well.From Receptionists, to Hygienists, to Dental Assistants, they are all top-notch. Dr. Alb has also had much of the same staff for as long as I can remember, which truly says something amazing about his practice. I feel like its mini reunion every time I go! I have been going to this dentist for a few weeks and in that short amount of time I had core build up, two crowns and started my implant. I have never been treated so quickly and professionally in any other dentist office. He has made this practically painless (and I am PAIN in the axx when it comes to pain management), efficient and in and out. You have an 830am appointment, you will be seen at 830am! The office staff and dental assistants are all wonderful and make you not only comfortable but they inform you step by step of your procedure. Let me first say that I already had a great dentist who's office is near where I work. But I live right down the street from Dr Alb and he is in my insurance network. He is very friendly and knowledgeable. The staff there are very friendly as well. I highly recommend Dr Alb!!! read more

Dr. Alb's office has very nice employees. They keep things casual and create a nice friendly environment. I feel very welcomed and taken care of. The dental hygienist do a good job and I usually left my appointments feeling very clean. However, Dr. Alb's personality kind of turned me off to seeing him from here on out. I don't really appreciate the fact that when I go there he has a tendency to just talk over me while working on my teeth. I think it's fine but at times he talked about personal drama with his assistant that I didn't feel the need to listen to. Last time I had a visit while he was talking he cut my lip but rather than apologizing he just kept repeating "it's just a surface wound" while holding gauze to the bleeding. On one visit I needed a filling, he started working on me and gave me some sort of lidocaine injection. While waiting for the anesthetic to work he paused my session and went into another patients room to finish working on her. I ended up waiting for about 40-45 minutes before he came back. I'm not sure if this is a normal in dental offices but it felt unsettling knowing that he was just working in another patients mouth and went back to me. My tooth was sore for a few days but then about a week after my appointment I was eating and i felt like my tooth became very uncomfortable. I looked in the mirror and my entire filling had come out and I was left with a small hole in my tooth. Granted these are all simple issues, some just incidental, and generally when i leave his appointments I felt like my teeth were cleaned pretty well. Nevertheless I didn't feel like it was worth me staying there. read more
