On 3/06 I applied for a credit increase on one of my accounts. Same day, I was immediately declined. On 3/08, I received a call from SCCU indicating that my application was reconsidered and I received an approval from the underwriter. Keep in mind, they called me after the initial rejection. I also have the voicemail indicating they were not sure what happened with the application and why it was denied the first time. I submitted my income verification and employers number to confirm my income. On 3/09, I checked the status and was DECLINED! Not sure what kind of game this institution plays or the shady business practices they follow. However, everything about this experience is unacceptable, unprofessional and absolutely ridiculous! It's bad enough to receive a rejection two minutes after submitting my application but then to get a call saying OPPS SORRY YOU ARE APPROVED and then the next day, DECLINE ME AGAIN!! Apparently, they feel better insulting customers by making sure you're humiliated! I strongly recommend you do not join this credit union EVER! They do not know what they are doing and they obviously play with people as if it's some type of game!! The absolute worst customer service experience I have ever had!!! Horrible business practice!!
