OCC is located about a 3 minute walk from downtown Campbell "on the corner of S. 3rd and E. Rincon…read more I have been attending this church now for 11 years. I first came here because I was looking for a "smaller" church where my wifey and I would not get lost in the crowd and just be a number,a church that has a community of believers that loves the Lord & each other. 11 years later I'm still here and can honestly say that wifey and I love the body of OCC. We are family. OCC is nondenominational Christian church with expository preaching, I would describe OCC church as protestant/Reformed Baptist. Where holding to scripture is of upmost importance and at the same time the love and care of Christ is shown through the pastors, the Elders, the deacon's, and the members of the church body to everyone. I can honestly say that members of OCC are truly my family. OCC offers discussion groups "bible study/ fellowship groups" throughout the week. As well as mens and women bible study groups and a women's fellowship group called season sisters. On Sundays during service OCC has a nursery for babies and Bible classes for the children available. After service OCC has an assortment of refreshments, goodie's and coffee. Most the congregation will go out and buy lunch then bring the it back and hang out and fellowship with one another outside under the patio tent or inside the fellowship hall. All I can say is if you're looking for a church home where Gods word is of upmost importance and you want to be loved on and love on others.... Please come, I'll look forward to meeting you. C-:

We started attending OCC shortly before the covid pandemic hit. We were looking for a church with…read morestrong Bible teaching, Christ-centered worship, and a multi-generational fellowship of believers. Orchard turned out to be a great fit for our young family. During the pandemic, the church switched to a virtual model, but quickly started outdoor services as recommended/allowed by Santa Clara County rules within a handful of months into the pandemic. As the church has a large outdoor area, services were comfortable and well-spaced. Small groups continued online. OCC meets at a historic building recognized by the city of Campbell as a landmark, with a medium-sized worship center (recently renovated and refurbished) and a second building for church offices and children's ministry/nursery. The outside area has a number of picnic tables, a large area of artificial turf, and a small playground which is great for post-service community and for kids/sports. The church in 2021 merged with a church plant, Bay Gospel Church, whose predominantly younger Korean American congregation has been meeting at the facility for many years. Overall the merger has bolstered the multi-generational and multi-ethnic diversity of Orchard Community Church. In terms of beliefs, OCC identifies as Protestant, evangelical, and Baptist, although it is not formally associated with any denomination. Further information regarding beliefs, and the statement of faith, may be found on the church website. Orchard Community Church is listed in the church directories of The Gospel Coalition and 9Marks. Currently services are in person with indoor and outdoor options at 10am on Sundays with a concurrent private zoom meeting room. Extra information regarding virtual or in-person services may be found on the website or by contacting the church staff.

Community Christian Campbell is one of the locations of Community Christian Church, based in Morgan Hill. My family and I have been attending Community Christian since 2010 and were heavily involved in the launching of this Campbell location. Since its start, community involvement has always been a top priority, much like it is in Morgan Hill. Campbell Pastor, Will Sawkins, has a great passion for both teaching people about Jesus and helping them grow in their relationship with Christ, and being a blessing to the city of Campbell/surrounding areas. They host multiple holiday events and services throughout the year and also sponsor community movie nights at local parks. A booth can usually be found at citywide festivals as well. Pastor Sawkins, along with worship leader Austin Lyons and numerous volunteers, have cultivated a genuine church family here in Campbell. Ask most people and members of the city leadership and I bet they'll have great things to say about the group here.

Bayshore is an insanely great community. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted by people who were genuinely interested in getting to know me. These people have become my closest friends in the Bay Area, and it's been an awesome experience growing spiritually alongside them. That's the thing. No one here "has it all figured out." And there's no pressure to be someone you're not. The services themselves are well-paced and focused. Gary is a great pastor, in that he understands how a "sermon of the week" will only get you so far. The community here engages in a variety of ways that include community service, home meetups, and prayer meetings. Bayshore is my second home around here. So if you're on the fence about the whole church thing, but you're sold on the idea of a community that feels like home, come check this place out! It's located at Old Orchard School in Campbell, less than a minute from downtown. Services are at 10:30am but you should drop by at least ten minutes before so you can talk to people and eat some free breakfast. Usually donuts, grapes, and bananas!

This was a wonderful church, but it closed its doors in January 2017. We miss you, Bayshore!read more

In that sense, it's clear that the church is rooted in Scripture and worship. However, from my personal experience, community was a downside. When I attended a couple of years ago, I found the church to feel somewhat "cliquey," with groups already formed, which made it difficult to connect. I eventually stepped away because I value genuine community where efforts to build friendships are reciprocated. Fast forward two years later, I found myself still struggling to form meaningful connections within the church. While worship and sermons are vital, community is also a huge part of church life, and unfortunately, I didn't feel welcomed or included. For that reason, I've decided to move on and find a place where I can both grow spiritually and feel connected relationally. No hard feelings at all, I truly wish Bold Church the best and hope they continue to grow in building deeper community. It just wasn't the right fit for me.
