I could not be happier with my experience at this location of Results Physiotherapy. I worked with…read moreboth Jordan and Joe and they are a great team! During my first session, I was given a full evaluation to determine what my plan would be from that point on. I think it is so important that there was an emphasis on asking me what my personal goals for PT was, and how I could continue doing my hobbies while working on my injuries (I am a runner with IT band issues, so this was really awesome). I know it seems obvious, but having a healthcare professional actually listen to me and my concerns was a really big deal! I was given daily exercises that were manageable and I think really contributed to my overall healing process (I did them multiple times a day). I never left a PT session feeling like I just wasted my time because I was doing new exercises and treatments each time. They have a wide variety of things you can do to supplement your healing, like dry needling, and I am so happy with my results! IT band strains can be super tricky to deal with, but after working with Jordan and Joe for about 8-9 sessions, I had my IT band injury under control (I just ran a half marathon pain-free)! I feel equipped with the exercises and knowledge to be able to handle any future issues as well! Thank you so much for the excellent care!

My main issue is the conduct and hubris of Dr. Tuna. I had two procedures done through this office…read more Dr Muresan repaired my broken wrist and diagnosed my broken elbow. After diagnosing the elbow he had me use a basic sling and said, don't move your right arm for 2 weeks. Yeah, that didn't work well. Also, less happy at deferral of care for ongoing numbness from surgery. He referred me to Dr. Tuna. Dr Tuna is apparently known for a surgery closing technique that minimizes scars on many people. Because Dr Tuna feels he is infallible, he doesn't refuses to know that his technique doesn't work on all body types. Hence, when I found that there were no surface sutures and only glue and steri strips that had come apart and I had a gaping wound, I was unhappy. When I went back in 4 days after my surgery, he told me it was my fault because I am fat. It actually is commonly known that people with extra fat don't handle that type of closure well and there are often issues like I had. Not only did he claim it was my fault for that. He also said it was my fault for the arm bandages not staying in place, because of the shape of my arm. He did fix it. And then charged me. When I contested the charge, he told the CFO that he had explained to me why it was my fault. FYI, I have pictures of the open wound. I will not post here as yuck! As a courtesy, they cleared the charge as I had already paid the rest of my bill. Fatphobia and inability to own your mistakes is not a good look. The one saving grace was the PT group who were lovely people even when they didn't tell me that one of the issues I was having was probably a ruptured tendon. I am now going to Norton's and have been treated much better. K&K need to stop riding the coattails of the great men that started the group. My mother had multiple surgeries with them and was always treated well.

I have written harsh reviews for Gould's Discount Medical in the past. I decided it was about time…read moreto update my review and raise my rating of this business. I still can't give it five stars because there are a few things that this business really needs to improve upon. This Spring /Summer I was trying to get all the medical equipment that I would need after my total knee replacement. I had recommendations from my Physical Therapist and also from the Orthopedic surgeon's office. After doing some research I knew that I needed a bariatric foldable walker, and a bariatric bedside commode. Originally I thought I would order them online. My husband and I decided to go to Gould:s not to purchase from them but to see in person the items we were thinking of ordering. Upon arrival at the store there was a single file line formed to be waited on. Not knowing if the line was for oxygen patients we asked at the register if we could look at the different walkers and commodes. The clerk nicely advised us to get in line. OK, but we were still planning on just looking and not purchasing at this time. By the luck of the draw when it was finally our turn we got a really nice gentleman. We first inquired about bariatric foldable walker. We didn't indicate we were not planning on buying it at that time. Our reasoning for this was I had assumed they would be higher priced than the internet. The gentleman went away to a back room for a few minutes and came back with the walker adjusted perfectly for my height. It fit me perfectly so we sat down to find out how much it was going to cost. The first step the employee took was to check if my insurance would allow an outright purchase or would it need to be a rental. After pulling up my information that was stored in their computer and updating my insurance info it turned out I was allowed to purchase it. So it turns out that the walker that was priced $154. would only be $99. which was the negotiated insurance price. Then the gentleman calculated my co-pay and it turned out my out of pocket price was $4. total. What! Of course we would buy it from them. The only catch was they needed a prescription from the doctor to qualify. We left and I contacted the doctor for the prescription which was faxed to Gould's. Then the bad news came. An employee from Gould's called and said my insurance would not cover the purchase because I'm not 300 lbs. It's true I'm nowhere close to that weight but my body shape doesn't fit the small walkers. If we bought it from them I couldn't even get the negotiated price. Unfortunately enough days had passed and time was of importance so my husband said we should just go ahead and buy it. When we went back and went to the check out register the price wouldn't pull up so the clerk called a supervisor over. The supervisor just pulled a price out of thin air so it was close to the insurance negotiated price of $99. I am frustrated but I also can't fault them that my insurance only caters to people over 300 lbs. I wish the person that initially handled our inquiry knew that was going to be a problem. Note: I never got them involved in the bedside commode because I found the perfect one online.
