There…read morearen't many great options for a quick tasty lunch in the area but this butcher shop's hot table/BBQ will leave you stuffed the whole day. Pizza, salads, sandwiches, burgers and pasta are just some items to name. I had the Bison burger combo and it was cooked perfectly. The burger was fresh with no filler. Fries were fresh cut and crispy (must use long potatoes since these fries were huge!). I still need to try the pizza, which looked fresh and had ingredients a plenty. It lost 1-star due to the price of my meal. Bison burger + fries + drink = $22. A bit steep when not in a sit-down restaurant setting. I shouldn't complain too much though, as the food from the surrounding chains or workplace cafeterias don't come close to the quality and taste.

We were very excited to try this joint out during our lunch break. Seeing the popularity of this…read moreplace online, I was pleasantly surprised to see that the parking lot wasn't too packed at 12:30. Upon walking in, we veered right and strolled through the meats and butcher section. Prices were surprisingly reasonable for a boutique grocery, and my friend was very shocked to see so many Latin American goods. We were here for the burgers and we all ordered our share. I (amongst with many others) got the lamb burger. I usually like my burgers with all the fixins (cheese, bacon, pickles) but they would've definitely taken away from the fresh flavour of the lamb. The only thing I really missed was the onions - if I had an opportunity to add them, I definitely missed it, to my misfortune. Food was good for the price, but I was surprisingly not too stuffed after a burger and fries. Oh and the fries - they have great crispy thicc ROSEMARY fries, so definitely opt for those. We'd love to come again someday and get some meat as well - I saw proscuitto for less than $3/100g, which is cheaper than at my loblaws.

I would pass by this grocery store all time, thinking to myself that, either their products are…read moreexpensive or there isn't much that would interest me. Until I decided to give it a try and I am disappointed in myself that I did not visit this store sooner. Although, it is a small grocery store compared to the popular ones we've seen. It is affordable and sometimes cheaper than other grocery stores (i.e I found my favourite Ribena concentrated drink $2 cheaper). The place is well organized and clean. The staffs are friendly and willing to help. The produce, dairy, meat/poultry/fish section looks decent. And I am definitely coming back here again.

ABUSE OF POWER This…read moreplace provides the worst customer service. Firstly, I asked for two bottles of cod liver oil capsules. The cashier gave me the actual oil. I sat in my car for 5 mins and notice I got the wrong product and the manger refused to take it back stating that he cannot resell it. The bottle was not opened and the seal was not cracked. (They don't care about the customer only their money) The manger asked the cashier if I said I wanted capsules. Naturally, she of course said no. Instead of trying to compromise the manger bluntly said he won't make a profit from taking back the oil. Secondly, the manger asked if i had common sense and if I can't read there was no return policy. Then the cashier proceeded to return the only unopened product. She started giving me cash when i had to remind her that I paid master card.  I wonder if she even heard I said I wanted capsules since she doesn't pay any attention to her job or the customers. Lastly, the cashier runs to the back to call security. Anyways both the manager and cashier ignores the security team. When I asked for the franchise owners information the manger refused and told me to call the store. I continuously asked for the number of someone at a hire ranking then him and he refused. He then bluntly told the security team that he did not ask if I had common sense. If he didn't say that this whole situation would have been avoided. The fact the he asked me if I had common sense was unprofessional, abusive, and embarrassing. I felt like he was trying to embarrass me in front of the cashier and customers. The fact that the manger was only profit oriented, unprofessional and verbally abusive saddens me to know that people like this are of higher ranking in stores who abuses their power. It's sad to know that type of abuse of power is happening especially during COVID where I'm struggling to play bills and save every penny. This is the last time I will be shopping at the store. I will be filing a report with the Bureau of Consumer Protection against this company.

I've typically always been a fan of the spaducci sticks from from Vincentina meats but over the years, I've noticed that the size and quality have been decreasing while the price has been increasing. Got a lead on Bonanza who truly is a meat boutique, every possible kind of meat, cut, animal, that you could want in every form (form whole lamb/rabbit) all the way down to fileted, portioned, chopped, etc. Basically if you can dream it... Bonanza can do it! The spaducci we got were easily double the size what I'm used to, and the lamb we perfectly marbled so I know when I eat these in about 6 hours they are going to be juicy, hot and delicious!
