My daughter just turned 18 this summer and took to open an account in person. Daughter told that next day she would have an email to start trading, etc. Day 4, called Charles Schwab and told by them that there was a date that was wrong however they didn't seem to either to time to call or email that there was a mistake with the paperwork. I guess they don't need any new clients. Great learning opportunity for daughter in that if they don't care enough to get new clients go where you are treated as a person and don't worry about businesses like Charles Schwab.
