I like this place. Clean, comfortable bed, large room, large desk to work from. Friendly staff. Decent rates. I'm a road warrior and I liked being able to drive up to my room versus having to lug personal and work things across a parking lot, through a lobby and down a hallway. Convenient to Interstate 70 and gas stations. Internet was fast and nice TV. If you're traveling east to west on Interstate 70 you'll see the motel and think the rooms don't have any windows, which gave me pause, because you're seeing the backside. Beds are hard like concrete, WiFi is terrible. We had one spare roll of toilet paper, but the roll on the holder had no sheets, so it wasn't replaced after last tenant. The shower didn't work, had to take a bath. The ceiling had water damage, it didn't rain so idk if the cracks would have leaked. Spider webs on my pillow, one was new, but the other pillow was flat and smelly. As for amenities; no fitness area, no hot tub, no breakfast, not pet friendly, and WiFi is terrible...I said it once... I'm aware the only benefit you get is being within walking distance of a truck stop restaurant combo, a convenience store subway combo and a bar and grill. If you pre book your room you save roughly 10 dollars. I'll post pics later. read more

The whole experience was negative. I found them on my smart phone because it said they where "pet friendly" (which they were) but when I called there was an awful background notice on the phone that was deafening, so I tried to do my reservations online. When we got here it looked nice, but they ended up charging more than the online rate. Once we got to our room, the blankets had stains on them, and the foldout couch had hole in the upholstery. Once we folded out the couch for the kids, we discovered it had no sheets or blankets or pillows, so upon calling the front desk and trying to explain our dilemma, we were met with rudeness. They said they would bring some linens to us. We waited... I was headed out the door to go find out about them and the guy walked past my door and said very sharply to me before I even spoke "I'm getting your stuff now!" I thanked him upon his return thinking he either misjudged my request or was having a bad day. About 15 to 20 minutes later we discovered we had only 2 small towels. My wife called the front desk to request more and was abruptly informed that she was rudely interrupting them! Then they asked if this was really necessary at the moment for theses towels... as my children are standing there dripping wet from their shower with no means to dry off! After trying to fix the arching microwave plugin, it was my turn to shower. The vent fan was out of order and so condensation was dripping of the walls and ceiling. The drops were of a seriously nasty dark yellows and browns. Yeah... Bad reviews for this place. I understand a low budget place, but no excuse for rudeness and hostility to your guests. read more

Being the only hotel at their exit off of Interstate 70, this Econolodge has little incentive to provide a quality product. As you can see from the uploaded photos, minimal effort is put into maintenance, the pool is not functional in August (no water in it), and it the hotel appears to have been refurbished by someone with no construction skills. In addition, the bed mattresses felt as if they were at least 15-20 years old. In hindsight I would have driven a few miles further east and selected a better hotel. Oh and the breakfast orange juice was heavily watered down indicating that the owners are trying to skimp on costs everywhere possible...and it definitely shows. Avoid this Econolodge if at all possible as it is priced about double of what it's worth. read more

Pulled in to this place at 3:00 AM and was able to get a room for 79.00 bucks we pulled back out at 9:00 AM. It had a bed, toilet and a shower that was all we needed for our 6 hour stay. Place is very outdated and paint falling off all the tiles in the shower. Very thick, heavy popcorn ceilings still. Beds were very very soft and move a lot, definitely going to wake your significant other when you roll over. Again, it had bed and was cheap so giving three stars. read more

This is THE WORST Econo Lodge I've ever been to. Having prior experience at this brand hotel I can say that this does not live up to their standards. The price was the cheapest in the area, so I wasn't expecting greatness but at least decency. Starting at the front desk lady who was rude and uninformative, and driving around the sketchy property to get to our filthy room. There was literally sticky stuff all over the chair and the bed was awful!!!! The air conditioner unit was so loud and making booming noises all night long. I tossed and turned on the terrible bed wishing I had chosen the Super 8 for $20 more per night. DON'T STAY HERE UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE UNCOMFORTABLE. read more

This place is exactly as it looks. A very basic hotel/motel. I lean more to the motel feel. Not glamorous at all but very affordable, clean, & the desk guy was nice. It's fine for a quick stop off on the road but I wouldn't stay more than one night. read more

Good value for the money the room was clean. We had sufficient towels, a comfortable bed, nice flat screen TV and the air conditioning was sufficient on a very hot summer night. We highly recommend if you're traveling cross-country and you don't like the big corporate high priced hotels. This place looks a little rough on the outside but the owners were extremely nice. Plus a free continental breakfast. read more
