Austen is a great communicator and talked over every detail with us and gave us regular updates (in person and via text) as the work progressed. We live in an older Fort Myers community and our home had not had new landscaping since it was built in 1987. Austen and his crew redid our landscaping from start to finish. We worked with Austen on the proposal contract and the price was very fair considering the amount of work. He got the proposal done on time so that we could submit it to our HOA A&E committee. He clearly explained his vision for our landscaping, driveway and walkway, and was very flexible in working with us to adjust the paver design and planting design, type and location. He has the machinery needed for big jobs like ours. He and his crew pulled out the old landscaping and rock, removed our concrete driveway and walkway and installed pavers (beautiful job!), re-graded the yard, upgraded the irrigation system, installed new plantings with mulch in the front and rock around the pool cage and installed a new lawn. When needed, Austin brought in experts when help was needed to upgrade the irrigation system and put in a new well pump. He and his crew made sure that everything worked prior to final payment and he walked us around to make sure we understood the irrigation system layout and operation. Thorstad Landscaping Solutions went above and beyond during the whole process, ending with a gift and handwritten thank you note. We love our new landscaping and pavers and will definitely hire TLS in the future. We have no reservation in recommending them to do work for you!

They were so intent on making their $100 without a modicum of due diligence to at least probe to see what could potentially be damaged. The owner told me that they are very careful to make sure there look before they proceed and are supposed to call him if they suspect any possible damage before they do any work. They failed miserably. I asked them to come back out and clean the mess they left on the wall of my home. They agreed to clean up the mess although it was a harbinger of things to come. I asked them for a quote to trim a couple of palms before I realized the extent of the damage they did and noted that their quote was excessive. Oh, and let's not forget that they charge $14+ to use a credit card. Never again will I do business with this company.

They missed many invasive plants and had to return to remove them. They removed about three quarters of the vines but refused to remove the rest. Their excuse is they couldn't get the job finished the first day so they did what they could. It would take them about an hour to finish up but refused to do so. The owner Barry came on site one day and started screaming & swearing at another tree vendor we had hired to remove a large tree. He was abusive & unprofessional. Do NOT hire Any Town Tree!
