This 9 hole coarse could be the best in Hollywood if some one would take time to work on it The greens are a disaster , some greens have firearms on them.most tee boxes also covered in fire ants No grass on greens and the grounds keeper was chasing behind us with the mower cutting them We thought , Cutting what Sand and weeds ? I guess the owner or manager do not play golf there or drive around the coasre Awful experience and dangerous And they want $25 to play there Look.for someone where else

Bang for your buck! some friends asked if I wanted to join the group for a round of 9 last weekend down at Eco. I was told to send 20 bucks ahead of time for the golf. I asked if that meant we planned to walk it and the answer was heck no, the 20 included the cart too! Heck of a price for sure. We got there a little early so we had time to check the place out. The practice green was nice. It helped get some confidence going in my short game. After a few puts we went in for a drink at the bar and confirm our tee time. Drink price was good. Customer service was a little grumpy but in a good way. The people working were about getting the job done and not a whole lot of fake pleasantries. Once the one fella at the register heard I was retired Army He gave me a stout salute which was kind of 'em. We hit the links right after. The course was spotty. As a local course that cost 15 dollars I didn't expect it to be perfect though. It was maintained though, decent grass and fairways. They could spent a couple bucks updating new signage and such just to add a little class. But we knew where to go. I only lost a couple balls and had a blast. Actually it was so fast we played a second 9 holes(which was a discount to go again). I look forward to the next tee time.

This is a 9 hole golf coarse built around Hollywood water treatment facility Fairways in bad shape but greens are the worse Every green has a different putting surface from crab grass to bare spots or sand ,yes sand on the greens members pay a $8 cart fee and walking is free ,so there are groups of walkers ,be prepared for slow play Club house still in need of repair

This is a great 9 hole course that is owned by the City of Hollywood and ran by a concessionaire as these type of contracts go out to Bid. The same group that run this course run the Hollywood Beach Golf Resort about a half mile away. The difference is that is an 18 hole course better greens and here you have to endure the smell of sewage as this is in front of the City of Hollywood sewage treatment plant. What you probably don't know is the City sells this service to other surrounding Cities and processes their sewage as well. First time on the actual course yesterday. My husband plays and allowed me to come along for the ride on the cart. It also gave him the opportunity to have me chase lost balls as well as find new ones as we were the last group going out for the day. If you want to book a tee time it is very easy to do this online. Very well priced and nice if you are short on time as it is only 9 holes. Recently both courses got all new Golf carts. Next year it is promised that the City will fund some very over due maintenance this course is in bad need of a face lift. Also as for the greens my grass at home is nicer.

This course is a short executive style course. Inexpensive and easy walk the greens are not that great but it can be played quickly after work or for practice maybe a good course to learn on too.

The entire course from tee boxes to greens including the fairway need a lot of TLC. It's a shame because it could be a great little Course..

Unexpensive 9 holes. Fairways not in the the best conditions, but for the price are acceptable. Good for a quick fix!

In other words, a slimy up charge. I didn't have my clubs so they offered to rent me some irons, $7.50 per person. These clubs looked heavily used from the 80s and were beat! As others have mentioned, the mats are worn and uneven, it could use a major update. The worst part is as I was paying, the owner guilted me into adding a few extra dollars for a "tip". Not sure what he did to deserve one but tipping culture has def reached its peak if they are pushing for tips at this place. Unreal!! Two small buckets and two iron rentals (drivers are additional) came out to $50+. I'll go to TopGolf next time for similar pricing but a better experience.

Aqua Golf is one of the last free standing golf ranges left in Broward County. What makes Aqua Golf unique is that it is a water driving range. Instead of hitting the ball onto the green, you hit the balls into a scenic 20 acre lake. A large bucket of balls runs $15. Aqua Golf also has a pro shop and offers lessons. Of course you can't talk about Aqua Golf Driving Range without mentioning the movie that put it on the map, There is Something About Mary. The movie is a about a Rhode Island man played by Ben Stiller who tracks down the girl of his dreams in South Florida. Cameron Diaz playing sweet Mary Jensen meets Matt Dillion's private investigator Pat Healy at Aqua Golf for the first time before they begin dating. Although Aqua Golf is looking a little more worn than its There is Something About Mary Days, it still retains a vintage charm. In our high tech, fast passed world it is nice to know there is still a family run business where you can still enjoy the simple pleasure of hitting a bucket of balls into a lake.

The food and service were okay overall, but I really wish the timing process had been explained more clearly when we first arrived. We started with 30 minutes of play time and assumed that window would also give us time to decide what we wanted to eat. Our food arrived about five minutes before our time ended, and we were told we would need to extend. We said we wanted to eat first and then restart our play time after. At first, they said that was fine, but then someone came over and added time without fully explaining it. We initially thought it might be complimentary, but it ended up being charged, which was fine. When that time was ending, they came back again asking if we wanted to extend. We explained the same thing, and that is when they told us we could not finish eating at the bay and would have to move into the restaurant. If we wanted to play again after, we would have to go through the whole check-in process again. At that point, we agreed to extend one more time and eat while playing. That said, the food itself was great. The service was great and our spot was clean and nice when we got there. We ordered the hot honey pizza and the lemon pepper wings, and both tasted delicious. It was not a huge deal, but it was a little frustrating since none of this was explained upfront. A clearer explanation from the beginning would have made the experience smoother.

Membership is private but considering other clubs In My opinion quite reasonable.. Clubhouse is absolutely outstanding with large gate to enter (Coded) and a giant plantation style clubhouse with all the amenities from the back porch and veranda overlooking to the course to the sunken dining room and ample bar area. Locker rooms are top notch for members with a small but very adequate guests locker room as well. Food in the dining room is really outstanding with over sized lunch sandwiches and a signature prime rib with dipping sauce topped with onion rings and horse radish sauce. Pro Shop is well stocked with clothing, supplies and various caddy shack items. Driving range and practice facility is second to none enormous with huge Tiff Eagle putting green various short holes to work on your short game, and large hitting area. Also top notch golf academy with top teaching pros with all the technical toys to work on your game with you. Golf course itself is very Florida like with water in play on 12 holes though Large OAK trees are not your normal Florida look. Well maintained but over watered or poorly drained makes the fairways very wet and no roll at all so it plays longer than the yardage. Downfall has to be the greens which can range from very good on some days to downright awful on others. Complete redesign of greens bunkers and holes coming next Spring / Summer along with new grass and drainage on all the fairways as well. 4 Star Facility heading towards Untouchable
