To his credit he contacted me right after my first call, came to the house, we agreed on a price, which was reasonable for the amount of work I needed done. He was in line with my other estimates. Because of his sincere, personality, we said let's give him a shot. The work was everything we hoped for and more. We've had Makensy back in subsequent years, as a matter of fact just today. Why? Because the work is superb, he cares about your property, cleans up any messes made by the run off and is still as friendly as can be.. He and his son perform the job and both have your home in Mind... I will ONLY call Might Wash in the future and recommend to friends and family. As a matter of fact I sent him to my neighbor and it looks like she will be going with his company as well. Professional, reliable, caring, shows up on time, communicates perfectly... WARNING!!!! Hired Wayne to stain my garage floor. Absolute disaster. Used a stain he was not…read morefamiliar with. It bled and when you walked on it, it left footprints in the driveway. He power washed the driveway to clean it. But used a machine that was too strong and it blew off the new sealcoating and left lines everywhere. Now I have to hire someone to come and reapply the sealcoat. Also when he applied the stain, the overspray stained all my new white pvc walls. He didn't cover the walls with plastic to protect them. There was no way to clean it so I had to replace all the pvc at my own expense. Then he decided to grind off the stain and apply a flake floor. But that too had issues. The flakes were not scraped enough prior to the poly sealcoat. So the floor is rough in areas. When I asked him to come look at it, he told me to get a scraper and scrape it myself. And the poly sealcoat wasn't applied evenly. So some areas have too much and others not enough. What should've been a 2 day job turned into weeks. I reached out numerous times to ask him to come back, but he made up some story that he was on a 2-month job in Virginia. So, beware if you are considering using Wayne from East Coast Concrete for any work. I strongly recommend finding someone else.

We went back and forth discussing different paver options, styles, layout ideas, and pricing. After several site visits, we agreed on a final scope and signed agreement. Once the work finally began and the trees/shrubs were already removed, Francisco stopped the project and told me I would now need to pay an additional $1,000 because the patio would require a step. He claimed this made it a "different project." As a homeowner, I relied on the contractor's expertise. I clearly explained what I wanted from the beginning, and Francisco had visited the site multiple times before agreeing to the price. If a step was required, that should have been identified during the estimating and planning process -- not after demolition had already started. When I pushed back, I was told he could simply "put the trees back and refund the money." While I did receive a refund, I was ultimately left with removed landscaping, dead trees sitting in my garden bed, and no patio project completed. The most frustrating part was that everything had already been discussed, measured, signed, and agreed upon beforehand. Overall, the experience felt very unprofessional and poorly planned.
