I was very impressed with Eclipse Leisure from the moment i enquired about a hen do package with them. I had been given the task of organising a hen do for a bride who kept changing her mind about what she wanted, but finally decided that she would like a sleepover - at soemones house! I was sure that this was available as a hen do package and scoured the internet to find one. This was when I came across Eclipse lesiure. The package being advertised wasn't quite what we were after (it included entry to a club and the matron of honour would be 8 months pregnant by then), however I quickly sent an emailing outling what we would like and recieved a very quick response. We were offered a night in the Crowne Plaza Hotel, Leeds, an afternoon dance workshop of our choice and one room to be upgraded to a junior sweet with movie nibbles provided, all for £106 each. Needless to say, we quickly signed on the dotted line. Being able to run everything through our own website, particularly everyones payments, was a godsend as it's always hard getting peoples money in on time. Any questions that I had on the run up to the big day were quickly answered and by the time the hen do came, we couldn't wait to skake our booties like Beyonce at the 'All the Single Ladies' dance workshop, chosen by the bride to be. We arrived at the hotel on Monday 8th August. It was very quiet with it being a week day. We were there early but tried our luck with check in. Unfortunately none of the rooms were ready, however when I explained that if possible we'd like access to the suite to decorate before the chief hen arrived, this was quickly made availabe to us. The suite was gorgeous, with a pull out sofa bed, kingsize bed in the bedroom, huge bath in the bathroom and an extra toilet off the living area. The one snag was that the air con wasn't working, however the staff quickly placed fans all around the room to rectify this. Our other rooms quickly became available and at least 2 of the 5 others were ready for use before official check in time. On arrivial at the cheerleading company we were greeted by Laura who waited patiently while we changed into our beyonce style outfits. Right from the start, she made us all feel at ease and started with a gentle warm up. The dance routines that we learnt were the same as the ones Beyonce does on the videos, which was fab! They were quite hard work though and I would recomend takiing a bottle of water with you. Laura was happy to film us doing each of the dances and presented tha bride to be with a bottle of wine at the end. Once back at the hotel, we took advantage of the spa facilities which were lovely and relaxing. Again, with it being a week day, they were also very quiet and we had the jacuzi to oursleves. The movie nibbles we were provided with for the sleepover were amazing, much more than we had expected. The hotel staff also arranged a pizza take away menu for us so that we could order in. Everyone had a wonderful nights sleep as the beds were unbelievably comfy. The next morning , we met for breakfast at 9.30. Again, it was very quiet and the restaraunt staff had arranged for us all to sit together on a large round table which was a lovely touch. The breakfast was delicious, all you could eat and every breakfast food imaginable. When the time came to check out, the receptionist let us off the car park charges - another bonus! Upon arriving home, I already had an email from Eclipse Leisure asking how the party had gone. I would definatley plan an event with them again. read more
