So for anyone reading this looking for a review on it - don't go there, it's all boarded up! Apparently the company went into administration. Shame as it used to be really good for kids parties, girly nights out etc. They had 24 lanes for bowling, 12 with bumpers for the children or not-so-good bowlers amongst us, and 12 without bumpers for the profressionals. They used to have a bowling league, a pensioners club and they did a lot of special Christmas events too. Hopefully they will open something similar in its place soon, as all the equipment is there and it is a sad loss to Barrow that it's shut down/

Booking in advance is highly recommended, especially for a Friday/Saturday night. Besides bowling, there are also arcade machines, and snooker tables, a bar and a restaurant. The restaurant is just your standard burgers and hotdogs. Not outstanding food, but fills the gap in between your goes bowling. It can be a bit pricey though. I have never had any problems with service, and have always found the staff to be very helpful, although sometimes a bit thin on the ground. If you want a fun night out, and down want to pount the cold streets to have it, then I'd recommend AMF.
