Online through my account they allowed me to book with an MD I hadn't seen before but figured it meant that was okay since it would filter with who popped up based on my specifications. Received an email confirmation for my appointment. I guess same day they had called from a random number and let me know they cancelled my appointment. Issue is, I don't check my voicemail from random numbers. I showed up and they didn't seem to care that I didn't receive the notification that they cancelled due to the provider I booked with online not taking new patients. Why allow someone to book with a provider that isn't taking new patients?? No email or text or anything... very disappointing. Again, this is more of a "my fault" situation, but the customer service aspect of the situation was very underwhelming. Probably won't be back and will be going elsewhere.

I repeat, you will leave their office with a piece of gauze on your face to cover up the large hole they just created. They do not close wounds! If you have a very small Basal cell or something, this may be ok, but do not go here if you have anything that will require closure. So basically this is what you should expect at Metro Derm. - Go to appointment and wait 1/2 hour or more past your scheduled time. - Dr will rush in and perform the first steps of the procedure as fast as possible then throw you back out into the waiting room for an hour or two. Apparently they have not heard of recovery rooms and prefer you socialize with the other patients with half your face covered in gauze. - Go back in for more layers to be removed then get thrown out to the waiting room again and wait two hours. - Have the nurse bring you to another room and explain that the procedure is done and they are sending you somewhere else (45 minutes away!) to set up surgery for the closure of the hole they just put in your face. Remember, they never once mention that this will happen throughout the process. Only at the end after having your face cut on and hanging in the waiting room for hours do they mention it. - Get sent out the door with not so much as oh yeah, sorry, we forgot to mention that. The best part, I asked why the Dr is not closing the wound and was told he has closed them before but he didnt want to close mine. Went to a surgeon that I was comfortable with (not the one they recommended) to explain the situation and he said "I cant believe those guys get away with that" (not closing the wound). Do your research people. There are plenty of Mohs surgeons in the twin cities that will COMPLETE the procedure and not just do a half-assed job and send you on your way.

I was previously a client at a different medical spa and had mixed results with my Juvederm lip injections, so I decided to try Wayzata Plastic Surgery since Kristie has a lot more experience with fillers. WOW I made the right choice! She leaves the numbing cream on for about 20 minutes and because of this I didn't feel a thing! The first poke I couldn't even tell if she'd started yet! Huge difference from the last place I went to where they only left it on for a minute or two... Ouch! But the real surprise was her technique; the woman gets it! I don't have lumps and bumps like I used to, and she didn't place it too close to the surface of my lip, so I didn't have any discoloration this time. She is so careful and has a great eye for detail, for example she noticed one side of my lip was slightly more round than the other so she added another tiny drop to even them out. I am a mom to 3 beautiful children, a wife of 19 years and I have struggled with my weight like there is no tomorrow. I think about food and I gain 30 pounds. My weight has been a continued problem and issue since my last child was born with severe disabilities. I have done the HCG drops before and did have success, but not without some major issues. My thinking became slow, I couldn't recall things, and my teeth started turning a grey tone. I was told this was because the concentration of HCG was not high enough, and my body was starving and was wanting to shut down to preserve the energy. Scary. NOT THIS TIME!!!! Wow- what a difference! I haven't lost a beat! In fact, I have accomplished more in these last 5 weeks than I did all summer. All because my moods are even along with increased energy, I have been able to focus and get jobs done that I have been wanting to do, but not having the energy or desire to get the task accomplished. Hosting 28 people for T-giving, painting my basement, painting doors, Hosting an Ice Cream Social for 150 people at my home, Hosting 25 people for a dinner party the night before that! The list is endless. After my son was born, my nervous system changed. I had never experienced this amount of stress or grief. My son is deaf/blind, cannot walk or talk at the age of 8. So my energy and mood is the real story here. Perhaps it is the Vit B shot? Perhaps it is because I am not filling my body full of junk, but instead choosing really good and healthy foods. Perhaps it is the timing to really take care of me. I am loving that my clothes are fitting again, but the best part is, that I feel like I did before Andrew was born. Something happened to my nervous system and that is changing as we speak. I don't feel depressed. I don't feel overwhelmed. I am happy. Optimisitic.
