Pro Remodeling are my favorite contractors in the Illinois Valley by far. Kerry and Karen are…read moreawesome to work with and very nice people. I was updating my mom's rental property and needed so many different things done. Kerry and his crew were able to accomplish all of them in a very short time period (always ahead of schedule) and for a very reasonable price. Some of the things Kerry fixed include: garage siding and garage windows, garage door opener, installing new overhead lights and fixing an overhead light from the 1980s, installing a new exterior door, removing an old privacy fence by the patio and installing a new one, and installing a new door bell. I'm sure I'm forgetting some things as well. Kerry and Karen were true life savers last summer. I'm so glad I hired them. PS- they also have a cute dog that is in the office sometimes.

She always meets with us first to see what our vision is and to come up with a plan. She comes back with a personalized proposal quickly - usually within a few days. She helps us with some decisions, based on what we want and what is actually doable/practical for our setting. She doesn't try to sell us on what she thinks we should do, or whatever happens to be in abundance at the nurseries at the moment. Becky is great with communication and is always on site for questions. We've been working with Becky for almost 20 years, and we were thrilled to find out we could work with her again. Unfortunately, we used a different company recently, when we thought Becky wasn't available. We didn't get the same customer service that we get with Landmark. We're glad she's back, and we can continue to work with her!

Several weeks ago I had various landscaping projects completed by Landmark. Initially Becky and I…read morewalked the yard, she then prepared a detailed estimate of the job proposal. That included weeding a large island and landscape beds, tree and shrubbery trimming, shrub removal, bullet paver installation, addition of dirt along the foundation as needed. All work was completed in a timely manner to my complete satisfaction. Last year I used Landmark to repair areas of my paver patio as well as to check and repair my underground drainage from the gutters to the yard. I was so satisfied after that experience I decided to contact them again.

Their foreman Willy is a machine!!! We had a problem with another vendor not showing up, and blowing me off for over a month to complete just one room. I hate to take work from anyone, but this vendor had no ambition. This room was a home office for an executive, who was forced to use the kitchen table as an office. This was unacceptable. Luckily Willy saw my frustration and offered to help. Rigo pulled Willy from another job just to help me. What would have cost months with the other vendor, only took a week with Risen Restoration. Beautiful work. I will definitely recommend and use them again.

Pratscher is a hard working family business that set a plan to slowly dissipate water below ground using what I think they call leach field. Started right on time and finished on time. I believe going to this company makes sense for water management over landscape companies.

Unprofessional and Unresponsive: My Experience with WP Home Improvements…read more I hired William from WP Home Improvements, and it turned out to be a very frustrating experience. He failed to complete the work as we had agreed, and it was clear from his workmanship that he was not familiar with the proper installation process for this type of equipment. He really shouldn't have bid on a job he wasn't qualified to do. When I tried to contact him to address these issues, he went completely silent. He ignored all of my texts and voicemails. This is especially frustrating because he was so quick to respond when he was bidding on the job. Once he had my money, his communication stopped entirely. I would strongly recommend you find a different contractor for your project. Based on my experience with WP Home Improvements, William is unreliable and unwilling to take responsibility for his mistakes.
