This is a great flat 9 home for we us retired folks. It's walkable for cardio. It's green. People there are friendly. Plus it's less than a mile from my winter/spring home. Consider it if you have not already.

I took my family for Labor Day for a late tee time and were greeted by the most unpleasant old man working the pro shop. Completely unprofessional and rude towards my family. I called in advance to let them know we were a group of five with two of the group being their first time on a golf course. Initially the younger guy on the phone was very nice and understanding. We purposefully booked two late tee times to make sure we didn't slow down play. When we arrived the older man gave us a terrible attitude the second we walked in. He tried to intimidate us by stating we could not group up in three carts and that there would be "consequences" if we did. We did not have plans to do this and had already discussed breaking into a group of three and two, hence the two tee times. The irony of the big sign at the entry stating "the friendliest golf course in the San jacinto valley" was not lost on us. While we enjoyed playing the round I would not recommend anyone taking their family here especially if they are new to the sport. They do not need to have this awful perception of people on a golf course.

My wife became a golfer a couple of years ago. She LOVES to play but we are always short on time. Thankfully, we have this little gem close by! Rates are as low as 6 bucks for walking and we can play 9 holes in about an hour and a half. One note: Lots of snow birds out here in the winter and call first to find out about men's and women's clubs and Grandfathers for Golf schedules.

I really enjoyed myself here and very happy to see it re-open and getting some business. This is a great starter course for beginners and for those avid players that need help on their irons and fairway drivers. Friendly people without the usual Golf shop smug. Field was in good condition, by no means perfect (a lot of burns and divots) and surrounding neighborhood is quiet. Make you forget you are in Hemet for a short time. Only con I had was that I almost got hit by some stray shots from beginners. Let some kids know that yelling "Fore" is not just something you see in cartoons. Loved it!

So my wife was having some Tupperware party and I needed a last minute boys only round of golf. We were searching for places that wouldn't break the bank but at the same time was decent. My brother in law is a local and recommended this little course. I must say it was a really good beginner's course..9 holes. Cheap to play. Nice golf carts. Maintained pretty nicely considering.. The course does play very slow..so be prepared to wait..

Course is great and cheap for a municipal. Just make sure you get there early before the kids come . 9 holes will take you 5 hours

Good Golf Course to start out the season. Short course but a pleasure to play in. And it's inexpensive.

Great Beginers course for the price. Greens are in pretty bad shape but the fairways are beautiful. Great place to practice your irons.

Right length in yards, right amount of time to play and provides enough of everything for the duffers of the world.

What a great hidden gem in Menifee. Friendly clubhouse…read morestaff greeted quickly and we were in and out ready to go. Full driving range (mats on weekends, grass weekdays). Really nice clubhouse, very nice restrooms, clean and stocked. Full bar and restaurant. First things all golfers like to know, can we take carts to parking lot. Nope. But there's a bag drop, so that makes things easier. Now about the carts. No GPS, but there are coolers (see the bar staff for ice), and no Bluetooth (I'm sure the surrounding homes appreciate this). Starter gets things going smoothly so you wont experience 10 minute wait times on tee boxes. Now for the course, it's really nice! Hazards, like trees and bunkers, keep things exciting but playable. The Palms course has water here and there, but easy to avoid, except for number 11. Greens roll true but fast and are very well maintained. Do yourself a favor and play here, great price, great fun, you wont be disappointed.

I enjoy this golf course, however, Marshall doesn't regulate the pace of play. It took over 3 hours…read morefor the first 9 holes! There are a lot of of new golfers and most doesn't keep or understand the pace of play. We ended up leaving and not play the back 9 because it's so painful to watch bad golfers. In addition to that, there are having golf cart shortage too, so everything is behind. I hope they do something about it. I took a photo of the 6 some and infront of them, is a 8-some..come on!
