Love this spot..... been playing for about 3 years, and since moving out here around the Menifee/ Hemet area.... This spot is the best bang for the buck...... however...... the spot is quickly becoming the worst kept secret..... look..... I'm not expecting stone cold single digit handicap guys out there, it's not that kind of course...... but when you got the Yocals showing up in tee shirts...... hitting 3 to 4 tee shots because they weren't happy with their duff shots or OBs..... something needs to be done about pace lately.... I took my family for Labor Day for a late tee time and were greeted by the most unpleasant old man working the pro shop. Completely unprofessional and rude towards my family. I called in advance to let them know we were a group of five with two of the group being their first time on a golf course. Initially the younger guy on the phone was very nice and understanding. We purposefully booked two late tee times to make sure we didn't slow down play. When we arrived the older man gave us a terrible attitude the second we walked in. He tried to intimidate us by stating we could not group up in three carts and that there would be "consequences" if we did. We did not have plans to do this and had already discussed breaking into a group of three and two, hence the two tee times. The irony of the big sign at the entry stating "the friendliest golf course in the San jacinto valley" was not lost on us. While we enjoyed playing the round I would not recommend anyone taking their family here especially if they are new to the sport. They do not need to have this awful perception of people on a golf course. read more

Moral of the story**love this place. But we enjoy the laid back atmosphere, so can we keep it that way** Alright, so this is one of our favorite golf courses, it's around $25 for two people. depending on the time of year the greens can be a little rough to putt on but for the price, we aren't expecting PGA standard grass... so when it's nearly empty at the end of the day and we ask if we can play 5 people, we will play quick, and the young gentleman says "5 is never quick**chuckle**", well at least we had the respect to ask. But to have a "Marshall" approach us because we are saying hi to our family before even going up to the third tee box, lighten up.. and yes we did allow the group behind us to go ahead of us because they almost smoked us three times on the first hole, with no ball control...that is the point of this course is to learn so I love that they are figuring it out but maybe not behind us.. but we promote and talk about this course every week.. we've introduced many people to this course.. so maybe be nicee to people who are bringing in business/golfers.. specially when we split up our group like we were already planning to do... the group that we let go in front of us, went ahead of a group of walkers and now it's backed up... we are on hole 7... our group of 5 is hanging out at every tee box.. but still golfing separate.. and we just happened to be the last group of the day.. so next time just let us golf together cause we would have been much faster... read more

Rates are as low as 6 bucks for walking and we can play 9 holes in about an hour and a half. I really enjoyed myself here and very happy to see it re-open and getting some business. This is a great starter course for beginners and for those avid players that need help on their irons and fairway drivers. Friendly people without the usual Golf shop smug. Field was in good condition, by no means perfect (a lot of burns and divots) and surrounding neighborhood is quiet. Make you forget you are in Hemet for a short time. Only con I had was that I almost got hit by some stray shots from beginners. Let some kids know that yelling "Fore" is not just something you see in cartoons. Loved it! read more

So my wife was having some Tupperware party and I needed a last minute boys only round of golf. We were searching for places that wouldn't break the bank but at the same time was decent. My brother in law is a local and recommended this little course. I must say it was a really good beginner's course..9 holes. Cheap to play. Nice golf carts. Maintained pretty nicely considering.. Fun little executive course. The pace of play tends to be pretty slow due to lots of beginners and kids. Don't expect to see proper golf etiquette from many of your fellow players while you're out there. Also, you'll want to watch out for stray shots, which are not always accompanied by a "fore!" If you hit it at a time when there aren't many players out, you'll have a great time. Also, if you're low on balls, or just want to save a few bucks, walk the perimeter outside the fence and you'll find all the balls you need. Be sure to have a few buck in your pocket, as there are entrepreneurial kids in a backyard by the 9th hole who sell chips and candybars to players. read more

I told him I'm a senior and my son is 16 jr and he was asking over and over to my son how old are you and to start off he came out and was pushing and telling us we had to T off early or might miss out T time B S that's why you have a T time we were on the 2nd hole had all 3 hit t shots BEFORE ANYONE WAS ON THE 1st T box and the course is in poor shape to boot read more

We are new to the city of Hemet and have been coming to this course often. The very 1st time before arriving we called and spoke to a gentleman by the name "Rick" and he advised us that the price $36 for 3 people. When we arrived the gentleman who checked us in with the red shirt and mustache said the price was $39, My husband explain to him that we called and that "Rick" over the phone had said it was $36. He said no sorry the price is the price and pointed to the plastic sign on the counter. So that was that.. a few bucks off but no biggie... Now today. We were really looking to play the course ...It was barley sprinkling when we arrived on a cloudy day. When we checked in we asked the young man with the glasses and beanie what do we do if it starts rain? We asked BEFORE WE PAID. He said "if you are not passed the 5th hole I can just give you your money back" so we agreed , paid to play the course. We were on the 4th hole finishing up another young tall skinny gentleman walked up to us and said" Hey we're need to shut it down it's raining to hard , you can play the fifth hole but we need to shut it down. We let him know that we'd be up to get our money back and he said "no, no that's not how it works." We were really upset at this point for being lied to. This young kid just wanted to close up and go home and not be there. Please hiring people with good people skill and customer service. It will bring more people in. I doubt we will be back to play on this course again. read more

I wish I could say my experience here was positive. First, nowhere on their website does it mention that golf carts are only available Fri-Sun. So naturally, when I got there, I was expecting to be able to rent a cart. Not so. Second, for some reason they choose to water the grass during hours of operation. My buddy and I got hit with the sprinklers, not to mention it makes for muddy playing conditions. Third, and lastly, their water hazards are not maintained at all and are breeding grounds for mosquitoes. I really wanted to like this course. Sad. read more

I adore this beautiful and laid-back golf course with its friendly staff and reasonable pricing. The senior membership with cart is a value at $175/mo and they welcome snowbirds. It is not unusual to be held up by slower golfers in front, as this course does attract a lot of oldsters and beginners and people in between who don't seem to know what they are doing, but I am OK with that. My family always comes here on the weekends to golf and this visit was not very pleasant. Every time we come in we always pay for a cart and sometimes they will provide us with one and other times they lie and say they do not have any for us when we can see they have some in the back. This afternoon a man helped us in the front and was very rude from the start. Didn't welcome us, didn't say hi just got straight to the point. We were going to pay for 1 golfer with a cart and 2 walking. Then the man told us he had no carts, he had people waiting and reservations. I understood that people had reservations and were waiting so I paid for what I could get and we walked the course. When we were walking we saw the man open a shed with more carts in there and he proceed to take out 2 carts and give them to the other customers. His customer service was horrible, he was very short and you can tell he did not want to be helping us. I wouldn't usually complain but we come every weekend and every weekend it is alway something with them. They either don't have enough carts or they don't want to give us a cart. I don't understand how you are trying to run business with no carts, horrible customer service and employees that have no motivation to work. I am not satisfied with todays visit. And from now on I will be looking for a new Golf Course so I can have a nice, friendly atmosphere. Don't waste your time and money at a place that isn't willing to work and provide the best customer service. This place is a joke. read more
