Initially, I called another construction outfit, and after telling me they could do the job, and after many delays, they later said the job was too small for them. Then I came across Biilt. Biilt, took the job, and I couldn't be happier. During their inspection it was discovered that there was some rotted wood to the original overhang. The house is old, really old, so this didn't come as a surprise. The Biilt crew was able rebuild the entire overhang and at a reasonable price. Construction, roofing, even clean up, they did it all, and their staff were polite and willing to work with me though the project. Cody, Aaron and the rest of the Biilt team did a fantastic job. We had a master suite added on, including laundry, closet space, and a full bath. First and foremost - they were on budget and on time FOR EVERYTHING. I had heard so many horror stories from friends who had contract work done, and I was shocked at how smoothly everything went and how responsive everyone at BiiLT was. There of course were issues. There always are - but Brent was always there to walk us through what was going on and ensure things didn't get off pace. Were I to do any work like this again - I would call them first without looking anywhere else. We even had issues with a neighbor who was just a pain during the process. Brent intervened and just handled everything. And the addition? My only regret is not doing it sooner. It is beautiful. I love my new master suite. I have never had the opportunity to live in new construction, and 4 months into living in this room, I still love it!

Called them for Chimney and Fire place inspection and to service gas logs…read more Received inspection report with photos of Chimney stack they are proposing repair work but no photos of interior inspection of chimney. And, more importantly, very little information concerning chimney condition and integrity of interior lining. Received proposal to Replace chimney Crown, Flashing, power wash and seal bricks. Estimated at a little over $4,000. The Technician that came to my home was polite and professional. I did watch as they worked -- cleaning fireplace, did not see them inspect interior of Chimney. Technician also showed me random photos from internet of Chimney stack (above roof) tops to explain issues with "crown" but did not show me pictures of my chimney. Then he went to truck and returned with tablet (ipad?) to have me sign and pay inspection bill. Said I would receive inspection report and a proposal for recommended work via e-mail. Did receive them. No contemplating recommendation -- proposed work.

I agreed to the repair in August and was told I would be given a quote and the work would be completed . The work was still not complete by October and I was then contacted by Anderson's that they needed me to pay for parts up front. Again they were supposed to get back to me in August. I paid their advance bill in October only because I prompted the discussion and waited. On November 7th they came to repair the wood stove but broke the stove door's plate glass and took it to the shop for repair. They promised to return November 14th to install the repaired door. No one showed. When I called the office they blamed the technician. I then talked to the technician. He told me the replacement glass arrived broken and that it would have to be reordered. He said the admin staff should have called to inform me of the new delay. Then I talked to the office manager who said they would have to follow-up with ordering more glass since they hadn't yet done that! In summary, a job that was promised to be completed in August 2024 is still not complete as of November 16, 2024 and the company took my money up front. Mr Anderson, you really need to train your staff concerning ownership of issues! Potential customers, steer clear of this company!

Quoted a roof replacement in January before our solar panels are installed. Owner bid the job and…read moreafter 5 other bids for the same product and warranty he was the lowest by about 10 % so we signed the contract. We were the first roof of the season and were very pleased with the crew that came. They removed two layers of shingles, and installed a quality Owen Corning system including the ridge vents and clean up work all the same day. When they left you could not even tell they were here except for a few marks where the ground was soft which no one could of avoided. They have the greatest lady on clean up that removed every last little piece of debris. Another really impressive way they do business was they did not even require any deposit! I found this very unusual on a construction project not to at least require something for the material purchase, but payment at once in full after satisfaction seems to be their forte. I have worked part of my life in machine shops, doing quality control with tolerances in the microns and also have built 4 homes myself with the exception of HVAC and masonry. I would of done this roof myself but my knees and age did not let me. Really am glad I found R E Kuba and I have already left several other friends know who to go for when they need a job done.
