My bet is here the fish is also previously frozen. Meat is also very very expensive. The filet Minion is so expensive it's not even on display, it's more than $28/Lb when I asked. There is a nice coffee shop inside as well. Nice place to relax and enjoy some food and drink. This place is way too expensive for my budget but seems good if you can afford it. Most of the food that they have is pre-packaged, canned, or in bottles, but that can be expected given their clientele is mainly restaurant owners. You can find a lot of the appetizers and meats that the restaurants serve to take home a cook yourself! They also have a very large candy room at the rear of the store. If you're looking for massive cans and bottles of some select canned vegetables, salad dressings, and ice cream toppings, Johnnie's has those too. Perhaps the most interesting items Johnnie's carries are the kitchen gadgets, appliances, and serving wear. They have a lot of the paper, plastic, and styrofoam serving plates, cups, bowls, etc. that are almost impossible to find anywhere else. Johnnie's also sells a lot of heavy duty, large cooking wear and appliances made for restaurants. I bought a few of their pans, and they work great!
