Great service and a quality job on my driveway. The estimate was reasonable and the work was done very well.

Short version -- I can't say enough about how awesome EBY is. Long version -- I had a fairly big and complex residential job. I have a private drive that elads onto the property, plus the driveway off of that which runs up to the house. I wanted to expand the driveway in two places, but I also wanted to save money, so I did all of the excavating and filling in with crushed stone myself. EBY gave me the lowest estimate, by a significant amount, over the other two bidders I contacted. Andy from EBY gave me some helpful tips concerning my own portion of the job, and came up with some ideas for saving me even more money. Once I awarded them the job, I didn't have to give them anything up front--only after the job was completed. At the last minute, for various reasons, I was unable to have the private drive paved. Although this meant I would only be having them do half as much as they had originally expected, this was no problem for them. In the end, they used their leftover material to fix up the worst of the potholes & cracks on the private drive, and even that is way better than before. I had dug out a bit more than what the original estimate called for, but they didn't charge me any extra. So in many ways, I got more than I expected. The driveway itself looks simply awesome. Super smooth and tough. Two days after it was finished, I drove over it with my big heavy pickup truck--no issues. I even had a little accident with an unbalanced lawnmower trailer, and dumped a load of large rocks onto it while scraping the driveway with the metal edge of the trailer--no problem, no damage at all.
