I'm not really someone to leave negative reviews or complain about things like this really ever,…read morebut the experience we've had in these apartments has been awful and I would recommend anyone think twice before living here. I have lived in these apartments for nearly two years, and it is my opinion that management will do anything to save money or make money off of the tenants rather than respecting them and having their well being as even a minor concern. On multiple occasions, pipe leaks which have had nothing to do with us has affected our living space, and on one occasion caused us significant property damage. When raising this issue, they did not seem to care nor would they do anything about it. We've had other issues with our apartment on a regular basis as well, and while they've been on most occasions fixed in a timely manner, some have gone months without repair or even have been dismissed as "a project for next summer", leaving us to live with a cracked and eroded patio that we were not warned about or shown prior to move in and a mailbox door missing for months. Regardless, it is my opinion that the frequency alone of these issues is a major concern. There's an amenity fee that I feel is far from worth it; $80 per month for a pool that is open 4 months out of the year, a small gym, and a playground/dog park that is only applicable to you if you have a child or a dog. Also, there are BBQ grills that I have never seen cleaned and a fire pit that I have tried to use on multiple occasions that has not worked. Honestly, I could look past all of that and just accept that we lived in a poorly built, mediocre apartment building if not for how we were treated upon move out. Our security deposit was deducted several hundred dollars for issues that were either pre-existing, we were told were not issues when we asked, or were not our fault and were blemishes to the outside of the building. We decided to ask management about this, describing each issue in detail compared to our lease, expecting at least some sort of discussion or reasoning as to why we were charged. Instead, their response was short, provided little explanation, and then they sent us the exact same images of the apartment that they'd already provided. It was as if they didn't even read what we asked them. I then tried to call the property manager who sent the response, and was told that "he'd get back to me", which of course he never did. My opinion is that the goal here was to deduct from our security deposit and avoid explaining why, or at least that's what it seems like to me. In short, it is my opinion that management views their tenants as money making opportunities, with little care or respect for the tenants themselves or the place in which they live.

Not sure how I'm supposed to respond to morgan properties response to my review. However, I will…read moresay I did exactly as they directed me to In the response. I did send a message to morgan properties outlining my concern that they did not document any alleged damage. I also asked them to call me so we could discuss it. The only response I had from them was a letter threatening to refer us to a credit agency --this was for five dollars. My concern is that when a business receives an unfavorable review, they can basically say anything they want, and we have no opportunity to respond to that. For those are you considering renting with this company this appears to be them posting for the public and not true action or intent.

I lived here roughly 2 years with few problems, so I just wanted to share my experience:…read more The apartments are located in Westview right off the highway to South 279, which is a quick 15 minutes to North Shore. It's also located to several closeby places that I frequent such as fast food restaurants, a Giant Eagle, etc. As for the apartments themselves, I was pretty happy! You don't pay for water, and the management staff there is pretty friendly and know me by name. They're always available for a quick chat. No problems with leaks, and any maintenance issues are addressed by the next day! They constantly are improving their facilities be it roofing, paving the roads, salting the roads, painting the walls, etc. It's not luxury, but it's very homey and a great place to stay. Not expensive at all for someone right out of college. The walls from the living room to the hall are a bit thin, so you can hear quite a bit in the living room, but once you go to the bedroom you hear nothing at all. I did encounter a rodent one time that had climbed through the vents to pop up under my stove crack, which scared the hell out of me. But Chris the property manager promptly got pest control and helped deal with it! Bugs and roaches are pretty much nonexistent, which was a nice surprise. The best thing that I appreciated however is that after 1 year of living there with a lease, you get a more flexible lease that allows you to give a 30 day notice to vacate after which you can leave after paying 1 more extra month of rent. This was extremely helpful to me as I will be moving to another city soon, and I was somewhat worried about it. All in all, it's clean, management knows what they're doing, and the employees at this apartment really work with you. I highly recommend living here be you a single young worker, a student, or a family!

The office staff is extremely nice and helpful. The apartments are move in ready, so I didn't have many maintenance issues but when I did, they were addressed immediately. I would highly recommend this place based on personnel, grounds, and location.

Worst apartment complex I have ever lived in. There has been mold in my apartment SINCE the DAY I…read moremoved in. Maintenance looked at it and never ordered whatever they needed to. Fast forward a year later, I am not renewing lease; now they want to address issue. Like you can wait until I am moved out because no one cared until now, a year later. I work from home so maintenance cannot come in apartment because of HPI. Previous portal to pay rent online was working fine. Company decided to switch it randomly. I accidentally typed my bank numbers in wrong (Bilateral Optic Nerve Atrophy - Visual Disability). I got the late fee waived because of the accident with numbers being typed in wrong. The following month, could not get access to use e-check. NO ONE was in office (of course) and when they were in the office, had NO idea how to fix issue. The rent was a day late, because I just decided to write a physical check. The late fee has not been removed - when I tried to talk to somebody who could help but they were not there and / or did not know how to correct issue. The company as a whole has horrendous customer support and an even worse way of dealing with someone with a visual disability. Instead of fixing issue on THEIR side with the portal payment option over the phone. They are blaming issue on me for portal not working because I would not go down to office - I have a visual disability and clinical diagnosed anxiety which influence one another. Such poor business practices. Everyone in the building (residents) have nothing pleasant to share about experiences here either. I will never recommend to anyone, ever. They violate the ADA and overall morals. The Fair Housing Act is also violated- reasonable exceptions in their policies and operations.

After they left, the property when down drastically. The new office staff doesn't walk around the building. They don't hold any events for the residents. There are abandoned vehicles in the parking lot (one has 4 flat tires and is completed rusted out for the last 3 years and the other was clearly ditched after some type of hit and run), dog shit left all over the place outside, and dog poop/pee in the stairwells. And the little areas of grass for animals to go outside is vandalized by vehicles driving through the grass and muddying and tearing it up. Their are apartments using gas/charcoal grills against the lease policy. People are smoking weed in their apartments. Constant music blaring and parties. Maintenance never responds to anything. It took 6 months for something to get fixed in our apartment. And we still have open tickets older than that. The mailroom is littered with so many packages from delivery drivers that you can't get to your mailbox. Rent keeps increasing but nothing is getting improved. Nicer apartments are building built across the road that are probably worth what this place charges.
