If you're looking for a top-notch, professional, responsive, and importantly, friendly Accounting Firm, look no further! These folks are the crème de la crème! From the minute you walk in the door and are greeted to the time the tasks they work on are finished, they are excellent in all facets! In fact, they have been the best accounting firm I've dealt with! A special shout out to Erik, Lee, and Briana who were an absolute pleasure to deal with! Accountants usually pay attention to detail, but this firm (and I've dealt with many other firms) are nonpareil! read more

I dropped off my paperwork to complete 2025 taxes. I went there for 3 weeks asking for a price before Erik completed my taxes. 2 weeks before the tax deadline he called me and gave me this enormous price for simple tax preparations. I was left scrambling to find someone to complete my taxes last minute. I would never recommend this tax accountant location to anyone !!! read more

After years of abusing myself doing my own taxes, I brought my years worth of W2s, 10-99s, and bank statements to Eberhhart, in a shoebox, Elvis style. They sorted out my world, and a few emails later I was free of that tax chore. They do the electronic filing, and my refunds were back in no time. Worth every nickel. Retuned my taxes in a neat file for my records. I will continue to use them! read more

Been with this accounting firm for over 30 years. Nice people to work with, no problems with what they do accounting wise.

Avoid them, do not use them- We submitted our tax documents to them in Jan 2023 for business and personal. We called for updates and never spoke to her, only left messages through staff asking for updates. There was no communication from her whatsoever and as of 5:00 pm April 18th 2023 still no word on whether the tax returns were done. We will probably have to owe money to the IRS and still do not know the amount. Very unfortunate as she was recommended by someone we know and respect. read more

Run, don't walk, as far away from this place as you can. A month ago, my wife and I brought our taxes in to be done by Karen. Between moving from another state mid-year, buying a house, and one of us being self employed, we had complicated taxes and wanted to go somewhere with more expertise than say HR Block. It took three weeks, which given how early in the year it was was a surprise to me. When we arrive on the day we are told to, Karen is not there, so we have to go over our taxes with her husband, who is not and has never been an accountant. We pointed out that it seemed off that the state we lived in during Q1 of last year was giving all our withholdings back to us. He couldn't explain it but just kept saying "well if Karen did them they've gotta be right". Later on, my wife wasn't convinced of this, did some research, and realized that they had indeed made a big mistake, changing both of our state tax results. Of course our returns had already been accepted by both states already. What was supposed to be a day or two to amend the taxes took yet another week. When we went in again today, we still did not meet with Karen at first. We finally asked to speak with her, to air some of these concerns and frustrations, but she was incredibly dismissive and flippant with us. She just said "oh it was a computer error, it assumed you lived in IL the whole year. oops". If I wanted someone to just plug some numbers into a computer without any critical thinking about the results, I could screw up my own taxes all by myself, and not have to pay $600 to do it. She came highly regarded, so this was a big surprise and a big disappointment. It was not even being sorry about it that was the cherry on top for me. The young man who went over the amendments with us today was far more professional than she was. (also, this is petty, but their fish tank is WAY too small, it's just sad) read more

Have used them for years. Used to do my own taxes. They have the expertise that I need. They even caught their own mistake and did an amended return at no charge. read more

I called to ask for tax advice regarding a 1099. Karen was quick to return my phone call, friendly, and answered all of my questions. She was knowledgeable, patient with explaining the answers to my tax questions, and very helpful. Out of several local accountants that I reached out to with my 1099 questions, Karen was the only one to return my call the same morning and provide me with clear answers. This positive first impression has made me want to return as a future client when I am ready to set up my retirement account. Thank you Karen for all of your help! Kellie read more

Great service and attention to detail. We have been clients for over 16 years now. Love local businesses! The staff is very friendly and have good attention to details. The IRS is difficult. They even defended us when the IRS did an audit. Huge advantage to have Eberhart read more

I was in need of help with my taxes while filling for bankruptcy and had a very short deadline in which to get everything taken care of and they completed the work quickly and accurately. read more

There good but what they charge you is ridiculous I could see the first time you go there but it should be less after that. What you get back from the state is the amount you pay them. read more

My husband and I have been using Eberhart Accounting for as long as I can remember needing an accountant. My husband owns a business so we are always guessing how much we will owe. Eberhart has made the guessing game easier and is always quick with a response to our questions. Since relocating to California from Illinois, we didn't see any reason to find a new accountant. I would recommend them for business and personal tax needs. read more

We have used them for years for my taxes as well as estate taxes for my uncle and grandmother plus a return for my minor son. As things change (jobs, health insurance options, etc...) I have reached out to them with a quick question to see if there are any tax implications and my options. They have always been responsive friendly and helpful. read more
