Service: The staff here are so welcoming & friendly. It honestly made the dining experience that much better -- they went around offering freshly made traditional coffee and popcorn after the meal. Such a memorable touch to wrap up my dinner! Ambiance: Very homey feel to this establishment. Charming cultural decor surrounds you at the restaurant. There is a bar section and a table dining section. There is also a circular nook inside where one can enjoy a more circular, cultural seating arrangement. This is a great place to enjoy a casual dinner that's a bit more intimate, in my opinion. I enjoyed my company/meal so much that I forgot to take pictures of my food! But, here are a couple of photos of the traditional coffee cup and honey wine glass. Overall, I highly recommend Bejte if you are Berlin. You will not regret coming here for an experience -- such a wonderful way to end a day of walking/sightseeing!

The Djudju Beer was not special, just a bottled beer with a fruit aroma. Disorganised customer service, long waiting time. PS: You can't pay with a card unless it's 20€ or more.

The sign outside read "Nigerian" and "vegan options", so we got curious. The interior is cozy and well laid out, with lots of space for groups. There were plenty of vegan options on the menu, and although not indicated - most items are also glutenfree. However, meat eaters will find an array of interesting dishes as well, from chicken to ostrich and even crocodile steak. I can highly recommend to get several dishes to share, to get a taste of everything, but also for clearing your palette in between the well-spiced dishes. We ordered fried tofu masala with veggis and potatoe wedges, a mango-avocado salad, and a side order of cassava with a mint dip. Everything tasted amazing! It was plenty of food for us two, well spiced but not too spicy for us - although that's a personal evaluation. If you want to try something very typical for many African and Indian regions, try a Palm Drink (Ghana). It is fermented palm juice with a very low percentage of alcohol. I found it a required taste and decided after three sips that I'm not a fan, but my partner thought it was refreshing and sweet. Besides palm wine, there are a number of African beers on the menu, including Nigerian Guinness. All around Pan Africa is a lovely, unexpected gem in the middle of Rixdorf - Neukölln. I will for sure come back with friends!
